Nothing personal, but I don't believe a word of that. I know for a fact that it happened a lot in the past and human nature being what it is, it will continue to happen.

They're certainly not supposed to and we do indeed log all events access by PD members. So it should be related to cases they are investigating and if it is obvious that it is not, action would be taken. It's not always easy to spot, though, and I can't say we extensively research those reports every single time either.

That said, I do make an exception for myself :-) ... I do sometimes read events just for my own pleasure, one of the very few privileges I take as creator of the game. I certainly avoid reading events in areas where I have characters, though, or nearby, since that would totally spoil things. I try to avoid knowing things my chars don't know. But I do use it to see what's going on in areas I have very little knowledge of otherwise, just to see how the game is developing. And I do it rarely :) ...

I can say with most confidence that the person that gets the reports now reviews them on a daily basis and does questions things if needed. Yes, it is human nature to want to look but once you have the access - the more you learn by these measures, the more it spoils the game for you. The PD is at heart still a group of players who love the game and want it played fairly. IMHO
