Plus it's against the rules.

I've got a slave for seven years, which is basically jail.

And a character who's in for life.

The longest a single of my characters has been in jail, in different periods, is nine years, with one term of 3 years in one town and another of 6 years in another town. One of them he was blamed for something he didn't do, the other he was just very unlucky, but still didn't really do anything wrong

The longest any of my characters has been in jail for one sitting is 7 years

Once I was jailed by the Stone Knights because . . .well, they're the Stone Knights and all they really do is jail and beat people.

The other time I stole something. Then people came and killed everyone. I survived because I was in jail and the raiders unlocked the door and I ran . . .

A pure Myth of the stone knights i believe, unless A, you happen to try killing racoons, B, you attempt to steal or C, have a mouth like a sewer with no respect in their homes. So if you can refrain from ABC then you will find life amongst the Stone Knights pretty good, or you will glady receive a beating for your efforts.

I've never had a character jailed but so often play the jailor. The only one character i have had locked up with was Pirates, and even then it took them three days of non stop sword slashing attacks under constant verbal abuse from my character who managed to insult them with everything she had before they finally managed to kill her without missing. She died laughing in agony.

The most random jailing I've had was in Darwin, near Tirqui. It was my character Jamie Beohn, who was an all round good guy, a cook by trade, who was looking for new cooking oppurtunities. He went to Darwin and was told that he had to go inside because there was a ship docking. He asked why, they said it could be a pirate, he asked why it could be a pirate, they said it payed to be cautious. He said that was being a little over cautious, if the whole town just stopped everytime a ship docked, they told him it wasn't. He gave them a little bit of advice, which was that it payed to be trusting, as the chances of them being pirates was low, but the chance of them being traders was high, and so if they were kind they could get some good trades, he said he would now be on his way, as he didn't want to be stuck inside. They told him to stay, and that if he wanted to help cook a woman needed help. He gladly accepted, and began helping the woman, being kind to her, and said to them that if he wanted to be cautious it was of course fine to put his own citizens inside, but pleas eleave him outside so he could leave when he wanted, and carry on helping cooking. He then fell asleep. They locked him up, killed him in the matter of days, and slaughtered the two men in the ship as well :S. I think they thought that he was a pirate trying to take down their guard or something

I've never had a character die from another character directly, and I have a lot of characters...
It's too bad that I have to kill a character of mine over fifty...a lot attached there. He's in jail, but its more complicated than that.

Three years. He was imprisoned for saying he was indifferent about the new town's name.

At first he refused to talk, but then as some hungry wanderers and youngling thieves were being imprisoned and killed and the guard insisted he had commited a horrible crime, he used the best of his words to prove his own innocence.

Which finnally lead him to a sentence of death. :?

As last resort, he rioted, writting propaganda notes and poems. When he was already half dead, the town leader himself came and offered him freedom in exchange for building a tower inside the jail.

There was some awesome RP there.

I've done my fair share of time, but I've never actually been jailed for criminal acts. Just flat-out killed.

In fact... the only times I've been jailed were as a result of pirates or bandits. Some of my innocents died, and some lived. None were jailed for very long, either way.

Hey guys! Has anyone beat my record of:

15 straight years of jail time? (cantr, of course)

Didn't think so. :)
