If I could create a latin charrie i would, even if i havent taken latin in 5 years. I still have a rudementary knowledge of stuff to rp, and i could always whip out my latin english dictionary that has been picking up dust on my shelf.

As for a latin forum section, i don't think that would be necessary as people in the latin area would all speek other languages already supported with their own sections.

For a long time Cantr was without a Latin translator, since trage resigned. However, a new Latin translator just signed up recently and hopefully he'll quickly translate enough of the interface for there to be a Latin area. Go and motivate him, particularly since he also works on the Esperanto translation!

If you want to have your Latin region sooner, you can also volunteer to help with the translation yourself ;-)

I suspect my bungling would complicate things for our Latin translator rather than helping out...

So I noticed latin is up on the list on the top and when you create a new charrie it gives you latin as a zone option, but should I assume that further translation is required because no latin charrie can be registered?

In order to apply, please log into your Cantr account and scroll down, there's a link to "Join the staff" or something below the list of your characters.

And yes, no Latin characters can be spawned before a good part of the interface has been translated. However, you can already set your interface to Latin, that will translate the player-related things to Latin.

Junesun that link doesn't work for me I get a weird error.

Warning: mysql_fetch_object(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/httpd/vhosts/cantr.net/httpdocs/sessions.inc.php on line 235

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/httpd/vhosts/cantr.net/httpdocs/sessions.inc.php:235) in /home/httpd/vhosts/cantr.net/httpdocs/errors.inc.php on line 47

That's what the error I get when I click on the recruitment page link.

Sorry, I've been busy moving to my boyfriend's place in Southern Germany.

I believe this would be a one-time error related to either your session or an database outage, since it seems to work fine for me. Please try again.
