I wouldn't get rid of my 3 on K island or my 3 in KDS, nor my adventurer or Stonecutter. Suppose I could lose my Sjoftich Hills and Dory chars. Probably my QF char too.

OK they already asked the forest one, so now i'm curious about the Sjoftich hills one.

Really. You don't have to try to kill off boring characters. Just put them in low maintenace mode. Eventually something will happen and they will become interesting. And things are easier because you are known by everyone even if you speak or are seen little.

The character that comes in as a close second as a favorite was basically put up on a shelf for two months working for someone else. I never expected much of it. And what I got amazed me and propelled it up my list of favorites.

It's funny really, looking back at all my charactures, many of the ones I am thinking of getting rid of are newer spawns.

keeping:

2 aki continent charactures
1 in PaK
and then i can't deside on either the the priestess on the K island or the one traveling in a boat randomly alone. I figure in 2 weeks, I will deside.

Here I am. BITE ME. or not, in fact, never mind, dont want some wacko taking me up on the offer. Only non wacko's may apply for bite allowance.. no garentee that you will be granted said allowance, but you can try.

Well when I was forced to limit from 30 characters to 15, it was really hard to decide. But I did it because I had to.

But, since you don't have to, you could, like people have said, put them in a locked building with food. Exactly like what was said--who can't carry at least a half a (real) year's worth of food with them?

I'm doing what Meh Suggested. I've had several "unintersting" char's travelling around and occasionally have them gather something or build. Occasionally they find themselves in an intersting situation and might even settle down. Also, though the travelling is uninteresting in the short term, in the long run they become intersting because of the travelling, and still they don't consume a lot of time.
Life is fun. Play naked with Psycho-Pixie.

I've done the same, I've got a few characters who are perpetual wanderers. A couple wander and I keep maps and details of their travels (the "Adveturers") but others just wander aimlessly, I randomly move them around, stopping to gather food, steal anything on the ground where no one is etc. Kind of my Gypsy characters.

I know one day the latter chars will find something that peaks their interest. But at the same time they interest me just as a player - the wanderers explore vast areas of the land over time and I start to get a great mental picture of how the land is. I kind of wish I could Map all of their travels but it's so time consuming. I think by now I'd have a few full continents mapped...

Yeah that's what I've started doing.

Most of my uninteresting chars I just started walkin' on down the road recently. Except for the one on the boat.

My 3 most dreaded chars that I have no room to maintain in the further-future-I gave myself a quick fix on making me have them go out postively. The one that has always been risky, because of their nature, went on an adventure. The one that has always been tranquil, hitched a ride. The one that has been considerably friendly, is now helping out, make me like them that much more. =D

Well right now I only have 3 characters and I already have a favorite and a least favorite. I've also upped my roleplaying on all of them. It seems I got more creative since my time off and I have actually given each of my people seperate identities something that isn't easy to do.

I kind of got tweaky with the current sleepiness/dropping dead of a number of chars, so I compensated by making 2 newspawns. One's not very exciting, but the other will be my fist char that didn't strike out on his or her own right away. She pretty much thought "That old lady's not hungry looking and looks like she can keep herself alive. I'll stick with her."

I can tell I'm a better RPer since when I last made a newspawn ages ago." *squeezes her newspawn* "Damn you're so cute!"

It's my first char on the K island too, so it'll be alot of fun to me OOC to experience a different atmosphere.

Anyone else donating young whleps to help fill the semi-lull we've had lately?
