I know a player whose characters are mainly rapists or personality-shifting characters whose personalities change in a way that benefits the player to satisfy their sexual desires.

I know (and have one or two characters) like that.
They've pretty much had personality and had reasons to be sex-crazed, in my opinion... :/ Though it's not really 100%... that's a bit absurd...

None of my characters have ever had sex, and out of around 20 now I think 5 maximum have had a partner of some kind, even non-mutual feelings including chars that someone else had interest in or they had interest in that wasn't shared by others.

I've got three characters with the goal of setting up a family and living simply, which doesn't really implicate sex. It's just the environment they spawned in.

One of those characters is actively seeking a female, but that's not his only interactions or goals. He's got a friend, and he's busy keeping himself fed and trying to get himself clothed.

I've got three characters that are COMPLETELY uninterested, it'd take ALOT for them to engage in anything even closely related.

All of the rest of my characters are more on the nuetral side. They aren't searching for love, but instead friends and things.

I think it's not unrealistic to have characters more inclined to seek out sexual contact than others, but that shouldn't be their ONLY interaction. Just as in real life there are different types of people, different intensities for different people etc. I don't like RPing sex at all, and I've never done it I've either 'faded to black' or summed it up in a quick like line or two without any graphic content.

It seemed to me with one of them the typing and spelling decreased drastically, as if the player was typing with only one hand, but let's leave that out.

I have made up IC reasons for my characters to quit it, although I would RP it normally if it would be for the sake of RPing, and not for, well... 'Pleasure' of the player.

Cybering is gross, when you consider the person on the other side of the screen has the same type of genitalia as you do, 99% of the time. Atleast for males.

For some reason, when I read what BZR said, I read that he plays cantr for his entertainment and and not the entertainment of his characters, meaning, rp for him rather than getting his characters laid...but I could be wrong, just how I thought it was.

I think this is a pretty common use of Cantr, actually. All parts of that paragraph.
