Eh... off-topic continuation.. I can't really do that because my character's behaviors are usually sold on speech + emotes together.

Although there is one I "lazy out" with and only emote if I don't like those whom I'm RPing with.

Bah. I hate this guy who left a woman all alone on an island with no people pretty much all over. I don't care how OOC it would be not to do it, it just is something you shouldn't do IMO. Especially not just out of OOC greed for things they could have gotten anyway -- things they already had, but now they took away the ship and the company.

Bah. I hope you know who you are, and I hope you get bored of Cantr because no one roleplays with you. Grrr! And I will contact PD because of the language thing -- something I only do to people I dislike.

Dudel just let a character get away with taking things and leaving people. Suppose that's poor RP too, to let people get away with a crime.

When someone mentions a person's name in an emote and not in their speech, don't ask who the person is!

for example:

Code: Select all

a man in his twenties says: "Who is Joe?"

a woman in her twenties says: "*smiles at Joe* How have you been?"

If it had been my char, I'd have responded asking who mentioned anything about Joe, but instead the person corrected themself even though it was meant to be a thought and the wrong name was never said out loud.

That's like me WAITING FOREVER for people to address one another by name.

It'll be some RL days before I'm like "FINALLY someone said this person's name out loud!" XD

Note: Your character can "emote directions" to said person by name but probably shouldn't address them by name.

I would do that. As the player, I know the other character's name from emotes and can direct my char to look at the right person, but my character still wouldn't know their name and would likely ask. I'd rather do that than *looks at the man who just spoke* etc.
