The MacGregors aren't like that. Or at least, they didn't use to be. Not sure how things are now. :/ Anyway, they're really cultural in a way? Not exactly cultural.. but like. Best word that I can come up with.

They follow old documents (of course, some, like Nick misinterpret them causing people to believe the original MacGregor doctrines allow for excessive violence). They believe they have, what, something like a 40 town large empire? There are many markers in the mountains claiming the lands belong to Clan MacGregor from even before my MacGregor character was born, and they patrol the mountains a lot so they think they own a good bit of the mountains.

Then ZHS (or was it ZHw?) , Krif Hills East/West/north they obviously own since well, those are ancestral lands.

But they've been constantly pestered, attacked verbally/physically so even the littlest thing can set them off nowadays. Plus, now that I think about it, some internal stuff that's been going on for 100's and 100's of days and the younger ones being violent, and of course Nick in charge. XD They really can be a unique group to RP with if one joins them, and gives them a chance, and of course, get's in close with them. x.x

EDIT: Plus the killing thing is well, they want to protect their family and friends so obviously they kill off people that openly threaten them since they're experience is that anybody that screams at them over the radio have tried to build an army. It's happened several times in fact. :/ A lot of their outer towns have been attacked several times as well, and many of their people have been murdered.

In my time, there was this guy calling the MacGregors gay/etc. and like, we yelled at him over the radio constantly or some thief in the mountains would try and say we can't catch him or something, but well, I think they all ended up dead cause we figured out who they were. x.x They actually tried to start an army.

I can't say the same about all my characters, but personally I love it for exactly that reason. Complete anonymity over a long distance leading to people finally having the freedom to say whatever they want, no matter how stupid, with no consequences. The radio has become like the Cantrian version of the internet.

And that sucks. I mean I know you can go to far with what you say. But come on can't we take being called nuts without having to kill the char for it?

I think killing people who talk random and plain annoying troll things is fine. I mean, just look at the latest radio message on 100. "Vagina is nice"? That's just annoying. Not even the excuse of "it's his/her personality" could apply here IMO.

Those chars I don't mind being killed... But did you hear the messages on the radio yesterday? That woman talking about nuts.. She was saying someone was nuts but in combination with that she had nuts with her. I believe that to be in character. Then I find it annoying to have someone say over the radio that he is coming to kill her.
