This is basically the same topic... but when people make silly spelling mistakes and it's only a letter or two off, and the right word can still be made out... do they have to correct it?

And if they don't, does someone IC have to pretend not to understand to either have the other char correct OOC or OOC explain why they didn't spell it right...

And just other unncessary OOC comments are bugging me, especially in Karnon.

I don't think those kind of little OOC corrections are needed. I had a char in Karnon for awhile and I complained several time about the OOC chatter. Guess nothing has changed.

Cantrians aren't mind readers so they should not know the thoughts of other chars. If it can't be expressed or implied verbally, in writing or through actions which can be seen then it should not be expressed.

I see chars going *thinks about how sad she is* instead of describing facial expressions or body language that would indicate that she is sad. Or she could even say, "I'm sad."

Also, there's the ever popular *looks the new girl in town up and down thinking about how much he'd like to get to know her" or some such.

All I can say is that I wholeheartedly agree.

I often drop (not very)subtle hints, for people, such as "Oh, look, it does appear I can read Reida's mind." but they never seem to catch on. I just feel like locking them away as insane.

... Normally I have a character in Karnon, and I have not seen any constant ooc chatter. He's been away for a year or so, so it might have started recently... but Karnon hasn't struck me as a chronic ooc abuse place.
