Any characters that I have had or would have that would be "evil" were/would be either sociopathic (or have sociopathic tendencies) to start or have something happen to them that would push them down that dark path. And they very likely wouldn't see themselves as "evil" or "bad". I think even the few I've had with sociopathic tendencies still had to be pushed a bit by events around them and had to flesh out their ideals.

I had one sociopathic character, but he didn't live long enough to do anything truly awful. Among his long-term plans were killing Stone Knights though the hiring of privateers and the conquest of the Alexian Empire.

Yea, only one of mine lived a long time. Any other potentials or actuals died before they got anywhere with it.

My character would be inventor of Babel Code. A language which forces everyone to invent their new language and forget their current one. Crazy stuff.

Is that the same as the 'babble code?'

They already speak babble, a new code would demand those that used it to put in a certain amount of attention to communicate.

I'd play a character that pretended to be crazy when it suited him to irritate and drive away any of those power-hungry uptight characters to other cities BEFORE they got into a position to wield power, write strict laws, and/or kill me off. In all actually, I'd be a workhorse though. (I hate not seeing %'s next to my chars). I'd let the others fight over who takes over, and just become their trusted right hand. Save me the trouble of actually having to lead, and still get decent benefits. Besides, there's a lot less competition for second place.

I'd stockpile massive piles of gold, marble, and hematite, spending any time not making food doing it, in order to trade for... who knows? I'm sure I'll want something at some point. I'd make a bathtub with the copper, and train relentlessly.

My character's feigned insanity would probably involve treating the rainbow and river as sentient, frequently quarreling beings. My character would attempt to mediate between them, and remind them how uncomfortable they're making everyone in town. Any time some drama llama got upset and tried to become a sympathy magnet poutfest, I'd loudly and viscously excoriate the rainbow and the river for instigating it, and steal all their thunder. Or accuse the drama llama of upsetting the two. Or whatever tool in my arsenal of randomness that I thought might do the trick best at the time.

I'd quickly develop nicknames for anyone worth talking to, mocking ones for the ones getting frequently butthurt, and emasculating ones for anyone acting like a tough guy/lady, neutral or affectionate ones for the decent sort.
