The same place as } on the English keyboard, ] + shift. Another good one is the " which is at the same place as @.

Hmm, yes. But it's easier to reach down to - where / is on the English keyboard. :)
I knew @ = ", and I do use it when use of it is called for.

hubby: "I can tell you are playing Cantr right now"
me: "How so?" *continues typing*
hubby: "Your facial expression changes with each character, and you type harder from person to person.....and you just shrugged! Did one of your characters just shrug??"
me: *blushes* "Maybe..."

I have to be careful if I play at work. With some of my chars I have to speak outloud what they're going to say to make sure it sounds right the way I type it.

I can't seem to make myself stop making faces, twitching, and occasionally mouthing words while I'm playing. I'm not very expressive, so I have to try to figure out how things should sound or if that facial expression/gesture goes with those words and other such things. Former roomie is always commenting on it.

My kids hate it when I burst out laughing or start to cry when I'm playing. I have one char who knows a char who is very good at making me the player cry. It's like reading a sad book or watching a sad movie. I love it.
Reveal to me the mysteries
Can you tell me what it means?
Explain these motions and metaphors
Unlock these secrets in me
Describe the vision, the meaning is missing
Won't anybody listen?

My big tell is a huge smile or frown, depending on what's going on. My wife always comments, but since she hates Cantr, I just brush it off and try to go stoic.

We should start a support group for families of people who play Cantr.

My family is used to see me laugh or frown or speak or gesticulate alone...
They just look at me like thinking "you are totally nuts" now... :?

I've told you I'm really expresive, you can tell what I'm thinking looking at my eyes.

And here I thought I was the only one who did this.....half the time I still don't think I get it right though. *blinks* I see so many others out there who rp much better than I do. Part of me wishes I was more like them.
