Re: Game changes - discussion about implemented changes.
It works rather simple now. Animal is object, so it can be used as a weapon with normal fighting rules.
However, I'm going to rewrite attacking and hunting, so it may potentially become possible to use animal which is not in inventory or other interesting stuff. But no promises if it will ever become possible.

Does that mean if we have a tamed eagle, we can only use it once per day to attack? What if we have 2 eagles and a bone spear.... Can we attack once with each or do all three count as options for our single-attack-per-day?

Only one can be used. Otherwise it would be easily exploitable.

That's the answer I was hoping to hear.
I could just imagine someone taming an animal army to take over towns. Thanks for clarifying.

About the weather-
A few of my characters are seeing hailstorms. Is this supposed to be happening in the middle of summer?
(...also is anyone else getting weird lag every time they try to post here?)

The weird lag yes! I even get it with private messages on the forum. I thought the hailstorms in the middle of summer were a bit odd myself.

Where i live a (short but fierce) summer-hailstorm does happen, albeit rarely.
I think ...

There are issues with the forum or the server it resides on. We are looking into it.
When you post, just hit the back button after a few seconds, and then refresh. Your post will be there.
Also, here in Sweden there are the occasional thunder storms with hail in the high summer. Some times the ground is all white from ice. Although the Cantr weather do seem to offer a lot of extremes.

We occasionally get hail here too.
I'd be more concerned if I saw sleet in the middle of summer.

I think hailing generally happens in the summer in real life too, because it requires the upper atmospheric layers to be warmer than the lower ones (first snow melts, then it freezes).

Yes, I recall learning that in school. Although it does seem a bit odd that hail is so common in Cantr.

I find the weather in cantr this far so similar to the weather where I live... here we use to say "summer is my favorite week of the year"

Seven whole days, some years even in a row!
You just reminded me of this (and of my friend in Vaasa and her "Woot! 2ºC, it's warm again!").
