I have no characters around him or near him or near Blackrocks anymore, so I'd be really interested to have a little OOC story told to me!! :D
Seriously, if anyone has a little bit of time, I'd love a PM about him and what he did- he seems like a pretty emotionally-damaging person for the Character and Player~!!

Well, you know, hate inasmuch as you can hate someone that... doesn't exist. I always thought Nick could have been so much better a leader than he was/is.

And then of course there was the lying, the betrayal, the antagonizing of every other armed group on the island. You know, the usual. :wink:

But Bryan, for all his good intentions, blows Nick out of the water in the area of sheer insanity.

A lot of the things said about Nick and TBR are complete rubbish you know... and noone will mention the other side to many of these arguments. Does anyone remember that Karnon has frequently been responsible for imprisoning and invading, more than TBR... yet noone remembers that, because it is not fashionable to do so.

So many players need to grow up and let their OOC grudges go. I hate KDS, but none of my chars do, because they have no reason to. :roll:

Oh, well, it's true my TBR charrie hated Karnon even MORE than TBR. But we're just having fun here, Surly, you know -- shooting the s*** or whatever. It's not like I hold a grudge against Bran -- IG I didn't like Nick, but there's no denying he's played brilliantly. Same with Jules Verne, whom I took an intense dislike to but was well-RP'd.

My point is that while it may not be true for you, a large number of people on this forum are apparently influenced by what they read here... and quite frankly it pisses me off that so many are incapable of distinguishing IC from OOC. I hated Lad. OOC for a long time, yet my char was still happy there and I did not let that ooc hatred affect the game... but this OOC influence is beginning to affect my enjoyment of the game... and I am getting pissed off about it. If you couldn't tell.. :roll:
