Well, howdy stranger.
:D

Haven't seen you 'round these parts for over a year.
K-Isle in the past year? Where to start...

Kwor and Karnon allied with others on the island, and Marched on Karnon Forest to wage war on the tribe.

The Tribe had scarpered to Burgeo.

Kwor and Karnon re-goup. Karnon providing much of the manpower, Kwor with her vast naval fleets, and along with the DeDannans and KORT, they sail to Burgeo.
Nick and some of his close allies are killed, and so are a number of important K-Isle alliance members. The alliance eventually lands at Burgeo in force and declares victory. The Tribe are disbanded.

Currently, the remains of the Tribe are doing well at burgeo, along with a number of other settlers. They seem to have no qualms with trading with past enemies.

K-Isle seems to be stagnating. The church is crumbling. No one , and nothing, is driving much relationship between the big powers anymore. Karnon, true to its imperial name, has set-home in both the Forest and the beach, and is building a navy to match that of Kwor, but for no obvious reason and against no obvious threat. Kwor remains one of the largest and busiest places in Cantr, but its to be seen whether the loss of Kaiyuu and others important to the town will loose the drive it once had.

Other will probably correct me on much of that though, it is, as always, a many sided die.

Anyways. Good to see you again. :)

Pretty sure Rick is dead. But the church is surely reviving. There are moves towards more pan-island co-operation and improved communication, the church being behind much of this. There are also attempts to get a currency established.
So there is quite a bit going on even if it's not conventionally exciting.

What the island really needs is another war. Wars spur progress. If a war engulfed part of K isle, there would be a pressing need to extend the radio network, and it would help remedy sleeping sickness by giving people something to do.

:D I think the K-Island will have some excitement soon that will be making them wish they hadn't killed off all the TBR warriors.

The Tribe was over when Alex Mason Blackrock's assassination of Austin Powers failed, by fluke.
It was just a prolonged fall from there.

The church was crumbling. When AoM left the game it kind of put a bit on my plate, esp when Surly decided to let the Archprelate pass on. But I'd say we're out of the darker days and we're on the upswing.

As for the relations, I think things improved slightly with some of the efforts taking place on the island.

Ok, it has been 2 IG years since I was last in Kwor (my charries on his way back as I type zis message), and it seemed to be a loose mix of 'initiates' (nice bikes though ;) )

Saying that, those fresh-faced initiates made a fleeting visit to Burgeo a while ago...

I have to say that K-island may indeed see a war.

But from were I cannot say. (Am I serious, or am I just being pie?)

(on a side note, could anyone PM me with info about austin powers and what happened with that place in burgo?)

Sierra - what a shame, she never gave me that haircut... Well, she was rather old already. So you played Mandingo? You keep surprising me Cherize, I wonder how many of your characters I've run into without ever realizing.

The Karnon Navy has been having some setback..plus Karnon had some bad deaths from that war.
there's also a new currency trying desperately to be spread.

Edit: And don't forget my impact!

Now that it's been posted by Cantrlady:

Eliza- I don't know what's going to happen to things in Drojf now. I'm sure life will go on, but certainly from a player perspective and a character perspective, (and as much as I sometimes hated that character,) I feel a large piece of Drojf has died with her. Whole story lines and many relationships that made things interesting regarding love and politics and mere every day happenings turn to dust with her passing. The same can be said for Eve I'm sure. I think both will be missed greatly.
