Okay.....is it possible to find out how many people have worked together on breaking a lock at the same time?

It's not recorded. Projects and any info about participants vanishes as the project is completed. All that could be checked is the most number of people working together on any project at the moment. (It's eight and it's not lock picking, it's a stone extension.)

You shouldn't use Trae's avatar! But anyway...

Here's something I've wanted to do for a while - name stats. First I got all the names without any limitations but there were 162579 of them and Excel can't handle that much, so I limited it to the English language group and characters who were still checked after 20 days from creation.

If people have a different surname, they're counted separately on this list.

1. Bob, Jack (34 each)
2. John (32)
3. Dead (25)
4. David (20)
5. Michael, Sam (18 each)
6. Joe, Sarah (16 each)
7. Chris, Jake (15 each)
8. Adam, Alex, Jôsh (14 each)
9. Alexander, Ben, Dogg, James (13 each)
10. <CANTR CHARDESC>, Max, Tom (12 each)
11. Daniel, George, Jason, Sohn Smith, Mark, William (11 each)
12. Character with lost name, Die, Edward, Kevin, Pillsbury, Richard (10 each)
13. Brian, D, Dave, Eric, Frank, Harry, Henry, Jack Sparrow, Jasmine, Let die, Marcus, Mike, Thomas, Tim (9 each)
14. *, Hunter, Jacob, Jane, Jeff, Johnny, Joshua, Lily, Link, Paul, Rose, Ryan, Samantha (8 each)
15. Angel, Bill, Billy, Boris, Charles, Christine, Emily, Greg, Jade, Jennifer, Jess, Jim, Jimmy, John Doe, Luke, Maria, Maya, Morgan, Peter, Rachel, Robert, Ron, Shadown, Unnamed, Vincent (7 each)

And it just keeps getting bloated after that. I'll get more stats soon.

Out of my 7 I've only 2 on that list and only one is spelled the same as the other. Well, three if you wish to be technical on one name BUT, whatever.

Also, Seko... that is a bit depressing knowing how many change character names to something like "Dead". :(

Yeah, that doesn't even include all the variations. I think there were 36 other mentions of die, or I seem to remember there were over 50 of them so maybe I lost count. Also 10 variations of starve or starving.

30 people have a number for a name.

Cantrians sure love their titles

5 Admirals
6 Bishops
9 Cadets
70 Captains (including 5 Cpts, 3 Capt.s, 3 Captians, 2 Captions, 1 Cap'n, 1 Capitaine)
8 Chiefs
4 Comitatenses (including one Comitense)
17 Commanders (including one Commandor)
3 Commodores
20 Comrades
25 Corporals (including one Corparol, one Corpral and 4 Cpl.s)
12 Council(l)ors (including one Counceler)
4 Counts (but only one Countess)
9 Deputies
4 Deputy Rangers
19 Doctors (15 of them abbreviated to Dr. and I'm not sure if the two Docs were actually intended to mean Doctor)
5 Emperors
5 Empresses
2 Fathers
2 First Officers
16 Generals
3 Guards (including one Gaurd)
5 Guardians (one of them a Guardian Ranger)
7 Guardsmen
4 Initiates
13 Kings + 1 King's Guard
15 Knights
17 Ladies (although one is just a "Lady who got thrown in prison")
11 Lance Corporals
19 Lieutenants (one of them a Lieutenant Guardian, one Lt. Col. and one Lt. COmmander)
40 Lords
7 Majors
10 Masters + 1 Master Sergant
8 Misses
6 Mistresses (one of them a Mistress Ivanahumpalot, that made me chuckle XD)
44 Mr.s
2 Officers
2 Postmasters
5 Praetorians
3 Princes
8 Princesses
36 Privates
5 Professors
2 Protectors
8 Queens
7 Senators
3 Sentinels
21 Sergeants
3 Sergeant Majors
17 Silver Knights
21 Sirs
5 Sisters
51 Stone Knights (sounds like somebody's good at recruiting)
5 Templars (one of them a Templar Knight)
45 with the article 'The'
4 Tutonic Knights

Also at least 16 thieves in different variations, so it's not just clueless newbies who do that.

Cantrians also like Lord of the Rings, Forgotten Realms, Final Fantasy, DragonLance, Star Wars, Wheel of Time, Sword of Truth...

I'm thinking of counting all the MacGregors and Blackrocks but I gotta save that for tomorrow.

Disclaimer: The list includes dead people so the numbers are no indicator of how many exist today. Also the titles only take into account names that start with those titles, not people who have the title added in parenthesis after their name etc.

Doesn't some of this break a rule or two? Knowing the exact number of members in a fraction could alter plans and/or motivations for some characters in game. I mean if mentioning that one of them died was a 4-day-rule break (even after 4 days had passed), why isn't saying that there are currently e.g. 22 Whitepebbles running around a rule break?

Ps. Please note my very subtle attempt of not mentioning a certain group of people in my example. :D

*nerd crushes on Seko*

Stupid question: Are these all names that people have given their own chars or are you looking at names that people have given other chars? I don't recall ever putting a title on any of mine, although I don't have the list from my old acct to double check that.

I've seen ten. Fortunately, I was with them, not against;)

Most "newspawn thieves" aren't actually new to the game and are people who don't like the location or are generally bored.

I'm of this thought.

I think it's funny how many characters have titles when they ain't technically supposed to have them.

I've noted IC that any idiot with a ship calls himself Captain, or something similar, as well as any moron who protects someone/thing is some type of guard.

SWEET! I love it! XD

I'm surprised at how many Lord's there are...LOL...and the fact that that title trumps so many others I thought would be far popular....

Now those are statistics I LOVE! XD

Hang on, I'm lost on this naming business.

Are people naming them Empress Blah from the start? (which I thought you were told specifically not to do on the create a character page?) Or are they asking staff to rename?

Just curious as I have at least one with a title, but I have to remember that as it's not on their character page, and I can think of better things to hassle staff about than renaming my characters manually. :)

You can rename your characters as often as you'd like on the char page.
