Not even Rigel is that pathetic...unless it IS Rigel.

Nah, he's be boasting about it somewhere. I think it's the Chinese Military. The individualism expressed by Cantr characters is a threat to their way of life. ;)

If the hacker didn't kill randomly. This could be useful for finding the hacker. There are not many players who are not upset with Naedell.

I don't really think he did
And don't put = between charries and their players. For example all my charries who got the (un)pleasure to know Rau disliked her utterly, but I do not. We need more charries like that!

I find it hard to believe the character of mine that dropped dead was individually picked out by name to die. More like picked at random or picked because he was the next character in the database sort.

17 chars dying in Doryskom doesn't seem to be random.

I'm no computer hacker but what if all the characters were in an exel spreadsheet. If I sorted by alpha last name and deleted the top 50, then Arenti would be deleted, but if I sorted by town name and then deleted, you may be spared if you didn't like on the sorted town.

Just because there is a explainable reason doesn't mean it still wasn't somewhat random... and 99 out of 100 times, my guess is usually wrong anyways.

I don't know......I don't think it was random, but I don't think it was individualized either. I think the hacker wanted to take out some characters and probably used some coding that killed all charries with a certain....skill, item, amount of food, etc?

For example, the hacker might have put in a code that caused everyone who had xgrams of food to eat all their food and die. Although I know they didn't starve to death, that's just an example. If the hacker picked a specific thing to attack, it would be very plausible that 17 charries would die in Dory, seeing as Dory's population is so huge. The probability of people meeting the hacker's specifications would be much higher.

I'm willing to bet that if it was looked into, more charries died in big towns than small ones.

Edit:
And when there are thousands of charries, 50 is a small number to die. So I'm guess the hacker was testing some rare attribute to see if he could get his code to work and was hoping no one would notice, so he could try something much more large-scale.

When Doug says all his charries were killed of after he locked the game, that tells me the whacker can target who he wants.

True...I just assumed that the hacker realized he couldn't get away with it and so decided to retaliate once the game was locked.

-shrugs- It was just an idea.
