So far, one character I've seen that has totally driven me nuts is Richard Boker in Seatown/SF.
I mean, if the player intended for him to seem clingy, egotistical, and overly-talkative, then kudos. But his consistent spelling mistakes, uses of the wrong word in certain situations, and lack of punctuation make for a real eye-sore when trying to understand and RP with this character.

I am trying to improve my spelling, and using punctuations. Richard normally doesn't speak that much.

I think Richard is a very sweet guy, he just doesn't know what he wants methinks.
Totally. Richard is a great guy.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people emoting in freaking Polish while there is a German character aboard on their stupid ship? Makes me regret ever entering it. I thought they were good roleplayers because they did emote in English when they were docked to land. They only emote in English now though, when discussing their slave plans for my character AND at the same time the emotes involve my character (*looks at* etc).

Maybe asking them OOCly to emote everything in English?

I wonder if this is almost a CRB? Like the players don't what the other player to "catch wind" so they change the emote language and everything.
Its annoying and not very fair or nice, in the least.

Quick unsub can be more effective than rp'ing the end with each character, because usually if you start doing that, someone will convince you to change your mind.
As for emoting in other languages, I would assume that the emotes they use among themselves are irrelevant so they don't see it necessary to translate them. I assume using Google Translate would at least give some hints of what's going on.

Google Translate doesn't give any hint at all. It barely translates a word.
