Haha, 100% agreed. At the same time, when people start making characters with the express purpose of killing off yours, before they've even met, that's sort of an honour IMO, too.

Frankly, I have no idea how people have the energy to keep track of that sort of thing. Even when people explicitly out what characters they play on this forum, I tend to forget about it. There have been times that I've been able to identify that characters are played by the same person, but those times were usually because of a tiny typing quirk that they all shared in common.

It's pretty easy after awhile to tell who plays who, at least for a majority of players. Cadence, style, certain words - whether or not they punctuate, the tense they use, etc. There's pepperoni pizza and spinach on white sauce pizza, but they're both still pizzas. Goddamn do I want pizza. The baby fusses when I have pizza though.

I'm with Undine, I don't spend a lot of time keeping up with or trying to figure out whom-plays-who. Also, I've recently spawned characters with the express intent of trying to survive alone in the wilderness. The decision was made before I spawned them and had nothing to do with where I spawned or who was there when it happened.

I think they're both agreeing with Wolfsong's suggestion to SekoETC, and using quotes either because that's easier or to emphasize that there seems to be a consensus on the feeling.

I think killing spree would do more harm to game than good but that's my coins to subject.

It's not like a single person could kill anyone, not even with a crossbow. Only sleepers would be in danger.
