Bangers and mash... Why is it made with potato mash (yes, the one you use to make alcohol) rather than mashed potatoes (potatoes and milk)? Both puzzling AND annoying.

The new interface changes are a great improvement, but I'm constantly accidentally whispering to people now, and it's becoming irritating. I have no suggestion to improve things, so I guess I just have to live with it.

I think that happens to all of us now, but I agree, it's still worth the new interface.

It happens so often, I don't even bother oocly excusing myself, I just repeat it in local.

Same. Even though it doesn't happen as often as it used to, it happens over and over with the same chars when it does (I only have six anyway).

It's puzzling how I can see into all these containers people are holding, I don't remember my character having x-ray vision.

So funny now that you mentioned that...why can't we see undergarments too? Just playing.

I can't understand this one either, especially for flasks that should be opaque.

Don't count on the powers of x-ray in all cases, though. You can only see the heaviest six items, and... there's lots of dangerous things that aren't so heavy.

I'm assuming this is a regional or country conflict, but to me a smirk is a half smile that usually expresses superiority or exceptional/inside knowledge about something. When people use it in everyday events they come off as conceited and pompous. Just an fyi to a couple of players who do a lot of smirking. So if you find people not liking your charrie for no apparent reason this may have something to do with it.

I am never surprised to find people not liking mine for smirking. 8) I think you are right in that it may be a language thing though, one of my chars got upset for her boyfriend smirking and he thought it was just a half-smile. Boy was that fun to go through.

Huh, so it turns out the dictionary actually backs you up on this, but I see characters smirking a lot and have never taken it in a negative way, unless there's some other context there that makes them seem like a smug jerk.

It's kind of hard to explain my interpretation of it...but I've seen it used in situations where it wouldn't be appropriate for a character to laugh or call attention to something out loud, so a smirk is the expression that happens when they hold it in. Or really, any time you want to show a little moment of amusement without resorting to a full smile or grin. It's also handy anytime you're just kind of playfully messing around with someone...though I guess that's somewhat like being a smug jerk, but in like, an ironic way?

For me, a smirk is often meant to be playful or mischievous. Depending on the character, some of mine like that, and some do not.
