Replace -ing, with -y. Suddenly you've got a man guarding the whatever he's working on, like it's his eggs. Get away from my eggs! *broodily watches over them, occasionally uttering a soft buck-aw*

4822-3.11: Crying girl says: "*daily crying for Tome*"
4820-3.02: Crying girl says: "*daily crying for Tome*"

Tsk. Can't even do the daily cry every day. Sorry Tome, who/whatever you are.

Edit: Drat. I did forget the standard disclaimer. Nope, not a single letter was changed. That was what was typed.

Is that the actual emote, or are you paraphrasing?

...I so hope that's the actual emote.

Having had a character in the same place, I can confirm that that is the actual emote.

I've got a gem from that place, too, but it hasn't been four days yet.

Edit: Suffice to say that within 2 IC days, a single character has used the *blushes* emote 7 times in a row, and has used the *blushes slightly* emote 3 times in a row on the same IC day.

This, absolutely. Evil little greedy, beady-eyed, dinosaur-brained devils.

I have a traumatic childhood memory involving being taken to one of those drive through parks where you feed the animals with my cousin, and a flock of ostriches just thundering down a hill and surrounding the car to push their heads in the windows and do like this machinegun beak attack at the buckets of pellets we were holding and spill them all over the place.

My uncle was holding his in his lap because he was driving, so I imagine it was traumatic for him too.

I should add to the painful to my ears and eyes list:

Stammering, stuttering, and lisps. They are so overdone that its getting absurd now. I have encountered the brain pain of having FIVE of these in one town at the same time simultaneously awake. I literally enabled all filters and never touch that character until they LEFT.Now anytime I find more than one in a town I feel the urge to move that character immediately.

Plus, several of said characters had the sputtering, sniveling, crying, whining, simpering, and crying traits going on with the stammer so I couldn't bloody understand a word they said.

You have my deepest sympathies. One is painful enough.

Mostly because of this. One trait usually goes with the others. Stuttering alone wouldn't bother me too much except that it's always combined with whimpering, whining, hypersensitivity, dramawhoring and a tendency to blubber out things like "W-why are...are y-you s...so m-m-mean???" with shocked looks and tear-streaked faces to absolutely anyone and everyone who doesn't have time for that bullshit. Often followed by running down the road or inside and slamming the window, and occasionally suicide threats or attempts.

Couldn't we get a stammerer with, you know, an original personality, for once?

Marian, now you have me thinking of a stammerer with some brutish personality and it's hilarious.

Those super muscular machomen would then have a reason for being so mysteriously silent and brooding!

The Cantr world is out of balance. On the one hand you have people in town who can't reach their goals because of poor leadership, and on the other you have towns with competent leadership that are full of people without goals.
