I confess I don't like the Stone Knights. They basically take away any potential members from any other group of any kind in that region.

They're big and powerful. A newspawn would be crazy to not jump at the opportunity they offer. Of course their philosophy can be touchy. I'm certain not all the "new age" Stone Knights are totally convinced of it. But as long as the Stone Knights don't do something ghastly that could spark a civil war amongst themselves, I don't forsee them ever going away.

He was one of my worst 'revamped' characters. He spawned in Olipifirovash West, right where my Thetaris Elandor incidents occured. (poor RPing, CRBing, OOC attack groups... that was when I played Cantr as a game, not as a RP society Simulator, and wasn't being very serious about it)

I figured the best way to get him killed was to RP his insanity.

What actually happened to the boat? I saw it was stuck and, walla, carpe diem. He slapped, and didn't hurt, that woman and got himself killed.
:P

Such is the way of the Stone Knights-
'OMG That guy did something wrong! He slapped a woman!'
'Everyone! That man did something wrong!'
'Oh so he's a criminal?'
'Everyone, this guy says Valus is a criminal!'
'A criminal? Kill criminal!'
'Oh, violence or something?'
'Yeah, and it was against a woman!'
'Wow... kill him!'

That's the unorganisation of the stone knights. Bunch of 20 year old newspawns who pass things on by word of mouth and stab you to death with a bone knife.

Nonetheless I must thouroughly thank you as both a dead-character and player for RPing your kindness into that character.

Valus had no physical possesions and he was bored as hell. That's why I never played him, and he was always 'asleep'.

Anyone in Akypor will know how active I am... lol, every two hours you'll see 'my character' talking, trading, working or organising. :P

No that's only an OOC dislike. And it's not like it's their problem.

I don't hate the Stone Knights, some of my chars do but personally they really don't bother me.

@Thetaris: Galleons and other large seaworthy ships aren't supposed to be capable of docking to a landing stage (which is for lake boats). But due to a glitch, we somehow docked to one anyway. The problem was solved via a petition to the programmers.

Strangely enough we managed to do it again before it was finally fixed.

And as for your opinion of the stone knights. I think their organization is admirable. You were an outsider and you slapped a clan member. In their own forest no less. That's a death sentence no matter who you are. Clan policy. Unfortunately, your act has made your former crew untrusted by the knights and it ruined trade opportunity. Next time you want to suicide a character, don't bring the wrath of the Stone Knights down on the people giving you a lift on their ship.

They planned to be pirates, and halfway through building their ship, she died. He was heartbroken and went crazy, trying to maintain a normal life, he fled where he had been living, roamed to two more towns before completely snapping and punching a man on the road to try and get himself killed to join his beloved...

I remember that one. Somehow... It was on the Hills of Hilloi, right? Maybe I saw his note in the Torres estate.

They dragged her into the medic's office and I think they gave her healing food, but there was a shortage of daily food in town, so even though she was given rice a couple of times, eventually she ran out and was too confused to ask for more. She slowly faded into mere skin and bones and once she went outside for a swim and almost drowned. No one seemed to care at first and I was messaging Sparkle to put her out of her misery alrea, but she had just gone offline, and then Priest Alexander was already wading in to save her... and they carried her back to the damned medic's office, back to the loneliness and despair. Alexander was the only one to stay by her side in the end, and he was very sleepy at the time. In the end she wanted to see the birds... and he helped her get dressed, then to stand up. She started blacking out before she had taken the first step. I was still hoping he would get online in time to take her outside, at least they could avoid the trouble of dragging the corpse! but it was too late.
I was in the chatroom, telling people my character would die on the next feeding time. And then someone told me the feeding time just went. I felt frozen. And for a couple of hours I didn't check Cantr, feeling that if I didn't look, she could live forever. Then I checked my email and the death report was there. All the time I was hoping that on the last minute, a miracle would happen and someone would bring her food. She was my first character.

Sorry that my characters won't die in funny ways. There are still others left but I feel tired of writing.

Too bad she and Slaid never got a chance to develop their relationship, but it was nice to hear that she survived.

Thetaris wrote:You wouldn't happen to know my experience with Stone Knights, now would you? They've killed 3 of my innocent characters, when I did nothing wrong, and 2 non-innocent. The non-innocent no. one was illegally killed and no. two was a dragging practice before he was murdered.

That is one of the problems you have with this game, you state "one was illegally killed". what does illegally mean? The law clearly states not to piss them off. There is no law unless a law is made and enforced by the body in power. You need to stop bringing your OOC philosophies of legality into the game. No one dies in Olipifirovash Forest for no reason. Perhaps the reason is not good to you, but you don't matter.

A person that takes something may die or be taught a lesson, but the person who is nice will leave happy and with what they came looking for.

If you want to start a thread about the ways and customs of the Stone Knights, I'd love to join in the discussion.

He was dragged inside, his girlfriend undocked in a panic and shanghaid him there to become a practice dummy for pirate claymore training. She did manage to sail back into town late at night to try and rescue him, but had unfortuantely given the wrong key away before they left home, and was forced to slip a note under the door instead finally confessing her long unspoken love for him and a prayer to hang on. (heh, long winded but he was my favorite character ever and my first to di so now you know)

:( Sorry about that one... i tried to convince James not to kill you... but if i remember rightly he got pissed off at your love stories and killed you anyway...

But that was of the most succesful pirate char i've had... got killed when we got caught trying to steal a boat from a town (can't remember where). I had a go at talking our way out of it, but that failed when James descided to try and fight his way out...
What!? Let foriegners into the country!? Ones that can run and jump and swim! You'll never catch 'em!

legs, You got some pretty lousy company. One of them respawned in Kiii later and ended up notebombing a load before we killed him. I think it was James.

Why did you let that idiot James be the captain, the player couldn't even find the Shift key.

Lol... yeah, he certainly wasnt the brains of the crew... but he was the one who managed to get his hands on the stuff. Stole a dingy from olip, sailed out to see and docked on a longboat to find a dead old man and a mountain of equipment... some people get all the luck

Oh, and that respawn sounds like James... very much his style
