One of my first couple cantr chars helped build that roadster probably 3 RL years ago. Him and his friend worked for years with the mining company to get that car together. Then he had to go and get a girlfriend and drive off with her, shoulda had a car with more seats.

That vehicle is the infamous Alenz Hills Roadster 1, of today.

She had a really great joyride, but it wasn't to be a long one, she was killed less than a year later...

Trust me Racetyme, I know Naron.
My char has lived there for 19 years. I saw the sportscar incident... my first experience with Drew.

Gotta agree on that one. He's also one of these guys ho whinges on about how life has been soooo unfair to him. For a slf-confessed pirate thats pretty rich.
Drew McKenzie is still the King of Incompetent Leaders (I've got a char in Naron right now) One of his latest bloomers was simply to forget to top up resource supplies for ironmaking. On the other hand he's doing a fine job of ripping off my character and her friends, who were depending on Naron for certain iron and steel supplies, and now have nowhere else to go for them (cause all their goods were stored there, while they went off on gathering trips , and now they've no option but to trade them onthe spot. ) He keeps whinging that they're ripping HIM off, as they pay him a full days worth mushrooms, wood, and even limestone for every measley 10 grams. The thing is though...he really does appear to actually believe that; so his stupidity is now reaping dividends. *sighs *
Victoria Nightwind? Hmmm...Holly would want me to agree with Nixit, but only because she's been nice as pie to Holly's bunch, lately (making up for previous atrocious behaviour ) I still think she takes herself and her position as Commander far too seriously ; and I don't like the way she enjoys playing "Lady Bountiful" with the fruits of other people's labour. She's one of those chars who demands "respect" all over the place, and treats very few other people with respect, which always gets up my nose , whether IRL or in Cantr. Much prefer the ZwellingHarts, who naturrally gain repectjust by doing a difficult job well, and neverhave to demand it, and don't care whether people call them by their titles or not. I must say, Victoria is well R-P'd,and I'm prepared to believe that she's mellowed a bit in her old age, but wouln't be too sure of it. It might just be that I'm seeing more of her sweet side.

One of my chars was partly responsible for that, Tom Smith had been guarding that damn car for about 5 years and defended it against several would be thieves. Then Tom was stupid enough to let Drew have it when I knew something like that was going to happen

I believe his name was Tim Jones

Though, if responsibility were to be held to anyone for Drew, it would ultimately be my character's fateful decision-the one that defined his life. Thomas Hobbes was commanding the Guard at Naron for years, having been in it for a total of 9 years. He understood how terrible Drew really was, but though wanting to put Jones as the new commander, he was outranked by Drew and Gwar, who would've had a tiff if I had made him commander. Of course, the positive effect of his decision was to influence the production of the Hobbes Encyclopedia: http://www.cantr.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6224&start=0, the negative would eventually screw Naron.
However, Gwar was the one who was posted as Acting Commander when Thomas resigned, it seemed that Zany had her own plans to promote Drew to the equivalent rank and depart the realm of responsibility. With Chris's departure from Cantr, it left Zany with only that pitiful excuse for a leader.
If Lolette, Fiona and Drew hadn't teamed together to blackname Thomas in Naron, the end of Drew would've came when he had the nerve to make certain insinuations about Thomas. That was probably the focal point of when he made me want to rip my hair out. He had home court advantage.

Oh God I loathe Drew. He is the King of Ineffectual Leaders. I've met some awful ones, but he's just... beyond words.
As far as annoying young characters who cause way more drama than they deserve too... Anubis and Stella, wandering around the Mulof area. They just DON'T SHUT UP. My character's about ready to slice 'em both just to get some peace and quiet.
