I think that would have something to do with the new land discovered by some nonirowk explorers.

I was the person to discovor it for Nonirowk....I came from Kirrin with my boat sailed over there. Found it, came back. Told the people of Kirrin, 2 other people came with me. I died so did someone else, one person made it back to Kirrin, Now my other chariacter is going on the expidition to the new island. But I would of liked the credit of discovoring it on Kirrin, everyone forgot who really found it!!!

The people of Noniwrok should be able to get some string-making resources without a need to add resources into the island. Theres still some places around there that nobody has been to yet...
And I will not elaborate, but I think they're close enough to the stuff they need.

Also, bows aren't the only weapons you can make out there, so I'm not really worried. So if fifty years from now, strangers come bearing bows and run into an island where everyone has spears, there will be quite some trading and learning going on.

Some places on the island nobody's been to? That doesn't seem likely...the island's been around for 20 years and been well and completely mapped for around 16 of those.

More than 20 years, just cos your char is one of the oldest doesn't mean he/she is. More like 22 years

I could be wrong, but I don't think any land has been added to Cantr since it's formation. Maybe people started spawning on that island, 22 years ago, though.

I think I can safely say you're wrong, in light of the existance and role of the New Lands department...

I can safely say that no land has been added. It always been there but never put to much use until New Lands put resources and animals on it. Jos has had the entire world mapped for a long time. You guys just haven't discovered most of it yet.

It's been knowable on the forum...I haven't seen any IC information to that effect. (I think I know where you are...I just don't know IC or OOC how to get there. Heh.)

My char there knows how to get there...only because he found a visual map with bits of both islands (and the sea inbetween) on the ground here. He'd wandered for years on the ocean and found it accidentally.

One of my other chars has directions, I think, but I haven't looked at them IC so as not to be tempted to use them OOC.
