I think you are overgeneralizing. Not everyone in the entire world things Cantr is amazing. A lot of people have things that are so much more incredible in their own lifes that Cantr is just a side game when they are utterly bored. You cannot say that it is wrong to say Cantr is boring, it is just a difference of opinion.

I believe saying Cantr is boring is not a valid statement. It may irratate you when a few of your chars is bored or you run into annoying players, but bored wouldn't exactly be an accurate word for this. Everyone I know who plays Cantr at least have one cool char or char that keeps them playing so it can't be that boring.

I don't think anybody thinks Cantr is like the most greatest thing ever (Especially people who's been introduced to sex. )but we all love it and will defend it at all cost.

Most people will never quit Cantr unless circumstances occur in RL that leaves you with no choice.

Just my opinion and I would really appreciate if people wouldn't get offended by simple comments.

The reasons I had to leave for the time was purely outside.....Like my new Job.

That is probly the biggest reason people have for quitting either for a while for sporatic periods, it's why I was only checking on chars once a week or so for a few months at one time and is why alot of my chars have been "sleeping with one eye open" lately, I simply don't have the time to put into it along with everything else I have going on which includes: taking care of my daughter when I'm off work, 2 jobs for a total of 47 hrs wk, PC repair school (three more tests and I'm finished ), writing (I have a few things coming out in a halloween anthology from Lulu soon) and more small things to shake a stick at, and I know alot of others have just as much or more to do in their real lives. I've been pondering quitting for a few weeks now myself but since Cantr is the only game I play at all anymore I haven't.

Cantr is sometimes boring, true. But when it's not, it's the best game there is at the moment, or if there is something better, I haven't met it. It's like a second life, or a bunch of lives. I even have dreams about Cantr. (Last night I was Gahak, messing around in some temple and stealing stuff... Now that was odd, he doesn't act quite like that...)
