Maximiliaan is alive... doesn't know about the rest being exterminated either... that's the shit about these forums, makes RP-ing that much harder...

The Malinago clan leader Kitjar died. Petro was accepted as clan leader then he left with the Lady leaving a female named Pebbles in charge of the clan until he returned.

My member of Malinago is alive also. He was in the Forest around about the time Alex was killed and returned not knowing anything to a barrage of questions. His (and the clan's) luck has changed recently... he sent a message to Pebbles. Hopefully she got it. I'm awaiting the reply.

These boards do make it hard work to RP knowing what you do!

And to whoever said which char was I, none of my chars have died.. yet...

That is why it is suggested not to reveal anything that could affect gameplay, which is the reason the 4 day rule was made. Discussing anything that is "happening," or "will happen" is a big no no!

Hell, this could affect gameplay anyway, which is why I'm NOT going to say how Petro died except to anyone who was involved directly, or to anyone who cannot be affected by it.

The only clan I have much experience with is the Stone Knights. A character of mine tried to join Tribe Blackrock, but after he was accepted, all the Blackrocks left the region. He found it very strange.
The logical function of a clan is increasing its own resources, in terms of members, "political" influence, and, of course, material wealth. What I don't understand is a little mob of people who sit around playing "war tag" and roughing up people on dubious grounds. I refer to the Stone Knights in Olipifirovash Forest West. In essence, they use the equipment they made before iron was hard to make to get in people's way. If they made shovels, looted Olip West, and used it as a base of operations to loot the countryside, I could understand them (Olip West has onions, and with a shovel that's 19 units of health a day). But instead they just make it harder for people to hematite in that area. Don't they ever get bored?
I have no problem with clans in general. It's groups that are made because some people thought, "Hmm, we should have a group" that I can't fathom. And I hate people who disrupt free trade without getting anything out of it.

I don't blame you there. (Although I'd love for everyone to know the truth. *Grunts*)

Can someone explain the 4 day rule? I've heard it mentioned but don't know what it is. It isn't in the rules on the site??

It means you can't discuss events that took place IG less then four days ago on these boards (or anywhere else I think).

Basically, if something important happened in character (IC), you are not allowed to discuss it until 4 days after it happened. That way people don't try to do things on an OOC basis to ruin what's going on/save their character/ etc...

Thanks for clearing that up, I thought it was something like that I knew it related to items on the floor and anyone can take them after 4 days etc. I'll keep it in mind :D

The function of the Clans of Olipifirovash Forest (now the Stone Knights) is to aid members in achieving goals. As an older member of the clan, I have all the tools and machines and cars and bikes and boats I need. All that is left is to help new members aquire what is needed. I spend my time giving things away and teaching the ways and customs to those that deserve it. I also spend my time killing (or bullying) and smartmouth punk that doesn't know how to act in the middle of a strange land.

The Clans know that power comes not from iron or steel, but from numbers and friends. You put a large group together that back each other up 100% and add in top shields and weapons, and we are a force to be reckoned with.

For every complaint I hear about string groups imposing the weak to their will, I merely hear the whines of someone that didn't know how to play the game, didn't know how to act properly, and didn't know a good thing when they saw it. If you love them, join. If you hate them, move along silently.

Bowser, there is simply no denying that the clan characters tend to be total assholes, at least to outsiders. That's fine, but it certainly does confer whining rights on their victims.

If 'achieving goals' was the function of the clan, what is the function of restricting resources and killing people who don't grovel? It's irritating to see so much power in the hands of a group with no ambition. I have to wonder how they got it. Because while you do need numbers for real power, without steel and iron you don't have any power at all.
