Christopher Columbus couldn't log into a "Theories and Facts" forum and ask if the world was flat or round - He had to find out for himself. You need to as well
Didn't Columbus theorize the world was round before he sailed the ocean blue? By using telescopes and what such nonsense he had reasonable scientific standing to assume the world was round. Cantarians have no such scientific means, and no in game ways to develop them so the best we can do is embark on a "leap of faith" voyage.
LIES, damn lies!
Everyone already knew the world was round if they were at all educated--indeed, they'd known the approximate circumference of it for over a thousand years.
The "everyone else thought the world was flat except for CC" is just a stupid "oh, how stupid they were back then!" elitist argument. Columbus was betting that there wasn't something between spain and the indies...and of course there was.

My point was that Columbus had a reasonable reason (how redundant) to believe that the world was round. The people of Cantr have no way to tell the shape of the world with out actually sailing to the end of it.
