Its difficult to get the in game images to equal the actual dimensions of the islands, probably just something to do with that.

NO, your so mean you big old so and so. We've already won do you really want to go round with me and 7 others over a pair of shoes? Your not taking my shoes you will have to kill me! O.o (your kidding me right?)

Pushing this a little bit I learned these type of characters would however let me rape them, beat them, abuse them in anyway I could possibly come up with but the shoes would not come off. This resulted in a lot of ladies being ignored because shoe fetish is not rape and beat you half to death fetish. It also resulted in a lot of ladies that would willingly give up shoes even if he didn't force them. Funny how that works. :)

Hey now! Did I or did I not give you a pair of silk slippers that were as old as time?

My pirate doesn't care about riches or attention. He simply wishes to please his gods. :p

Every time I want one of my characters to be a pirate or something, they end up running into people that are so caring and kind that it would be impossible for them to go on without going through a positive moral shift. One of my current characters are "suffering" from this. Stupid nice people influencing my bandits and thugs!

Hey, I was planning to make a character who would create such place!

How would you plan to do that?

Not many probably remember me. I come to lurk in the forums every now and then..

But the MacGregors are back on Treefeather? Because if so, that's awesome. I disagreed with their move to wherever they went and would have stopped if my very high-ranking MacGregor with lots of big plans (like the takeover of the Krif-Djorf-Seatown region, inviting people to join the class as "lesser MacGregors, revitalizing the region in a firm but benevolent rule). Some of the best times I've ever had playing Cantr

Oh, I guess a little on topic. Back when I played there was some guy was a pretty fearsome pirate. I think his name was Nick or something?

The current McGregors are nice people, not strict and scary like the old ones used to be.

I think I remember someone called that, but nothing else about him. My MacGregor was one of the group that moved back to Drofj.

I think a large part of it is because there's not a lot of opponents to the MacGregors anymore, we tend to stay in Drojf mostly.

Pirate was Adam Brinks and I believe the Nick he's referring to was Nick MacGregor.

Hello again CantrFreak :)

Adam Brinks! Yeah, that was it! Because of CRB issue or another Nick had to migrate the MacGregors because he was also Adam Brinks player. Something like that. And Djorf? Bah - reclaim the ancestral lands. It was some of the best times in Cantr I've ever had due to the internal succession crises and the drastically different political ideologies and motivations within the MacGregor Clan. Came down to Nick being a little more aggressive, expansionist, imposing MacGregor rule, etc. Makior (me), with the same motivations of agressive expansionism, wanted to "invite" the towns since they'd honestly live a better lifestyle under MacGregor rule. And making some of them lesser nobles to govern, etc. I think in some old notes Gregor MacGregor claimed the MacGregors governed like a fourth of Treefeather so it seemed justified to the both of them.

'Cept Nick ended up killing Makior because of personal issues and the fact that Makior didn't want leadership. But by the end he realized he should have taken it when Nick offered him to lead. :(

That sucks they're so nice though.. I mean, I always thought they were a more realistic group. They were good guys to a point, but fiercely "tribal" in the fact that they would absolutely tear you apart if you messed with their own even if it was somewhat justified. Like they were the misunderstood good guys. Back when I played they also were very big on traditions and cultural heritage.

Ah, makes me wanna play again. Hey guys!

We still have traditions, we're just good guys who are now more understood.

SekoETC wrote:I think it would improve the game if there were more pirates, but not if they killed people with no rp. i am heavily anti pirate for this very reason. mindless slaughter with 0 RP...... that pisses me off. not to mention they WOULD kill you because most people who play pirates ( MOST, not all. don't get offended! ) are assholes.

and....come on is this what the game has come to? you wanna break the rules to spice it up a notch? god damn it just do an entire game reset, or maybe even use the test server as a new server for people to play on with a fresh start ( but not spawn 15 characters seen as they'll still have their characters on the other server )

or make a new island that isn't half a world away from everything else? come on guys come up with some better ideas other then an OOC agreement or otherwise getting rid of perma death. is there really no better way to improve the game other than to encourage violence? i've even seen people straight up kill perfectly good RP opportunities, and i've only been back for like a month. speaking of which, i came to the forums to find a "bad RP" thread.
