Thats why it will be cool when a skill system is implied because average joes who make there own weapons will make crappy ones that fall apart fast, while expert black smiths will make quality weapons that last for a long time.

So I guess that you will have to build it many times before they on't fall apart? Still though i agree with bran that it's fine the way it is.

I think skills will be great.
In that way well organized towns can have a disciplined guard who spend their time training combat while other towns just have a militia...
