hmhmmm *clears throat* Start a serious thread?

Character that can fly
See though buildings
Bound a building in a single leap
Red cape

Oh, I forgot we already have a character like that - Wonder.

Seriously, unique knowledge to build something new? Like a swimming pool.

Vacuum Tube communication between towns/rooms/buildings!
So we can send stuff around easily instead of having to travel all the time.

The ability to revive characters minutes after their death. A CPR project that has a 50/50 chance of bringing them back. If its someone who quit the char randomly goes in a queue for people who want more chars. Near death experiences can explain behavioral and mental changes, right? Lol

48 hours of "the living dead" where all dead chars are revived. (OK, I know this would be horribly disruptive to current chars but still awesome)

Perhaps a few items that are lost deep somewhere in remote places on Fu, pangea, rus...and somewhere else, protected in a small locked building by -alot- of very aggressive animals (bears etc). Maybe only three. But each item does grant the ability to do some of the prementioned things..(hear whispers, break locks better though that one is still pretty powerful, etc...increase a skill by 100pts or whatever and they might grant another special power once the pieces are assembled) This would send players on quests to find these "holy grails"... But having the items is not all wine and roses. Have each piece weigh about 3k and usable by working on them. So you have decide what you won't carry (like 100 keys) and you can only use the special power by making using it into a 'job'...so you might also have to give up self dragging etc.

The advantages would be significant and would not make anyone invulnerable, 3 crossbows can still probably kill anybody so the items would change hands a few times. Combining them would be irreversible maybe, meaning you would have an even better item that does 2 of those powers to a heightened degree, but now you have 6k weight. Still its a superior item and so forth. This might add some plot in the form of quests and make some body a real badmofo but still killable by an organized force etc. Redistributing them on a chars lone death might be a random element, I havent really thought that out. Anyways, not game changing to a major degree and its effects would only be localized.

Oh well, last night when I couldn't sleep it hit me. So take this for a half awake mind and from a half asleep one as well.

and -be- well.

I'd want to implement haunting, but it's not an accepted suggestion.

Ohhh, one of your dead, returns as a ghost, but for only a limited time. (maybe 10 days?) described as (Summer - a transparent image of a woman in her fifties) Those that knew them still would recognize them.. others would just see the transparent image.. They could communicate but not leave the town they are in. They cannot enter buildings. They cannot be injured, even if attacked. They cannot work on anything. It wouldn't have to be an actual implementation that they can't, just the agreement that they won't, if they break the agreement, the ghost is removed.

you see a man in his twenties attack a transparent image of a woman in her fifties. .. he would miss of course because there would be nothing to hit.

And vice versa, but this is generally a good suggestion anyway, and should maybe be posted as one?
Be good to be able to drag criminals back to towns and such, and, yes, remove them.

The ability to let a voice be heard that speaks with the name of no one. No better way to start a religion. It can be a one time event or even better a recurring thing. (I would prefer to be able to do it one time in each place you visit but that might take to much coding?) Like:

You see the sun shine on one spot only. In the light stands -charname or a man/woman in his/her xxxxx- . You hear a loud voice that seems to come from everywhere:
Roleplayed text here.
If I could do that to one of my chars I GARANTEE that you would have a full blown religion in no time.

Well...if we're taking the word 'miracle' literally now, I'd like for one of my charries to have the ability to change water into wine. Erm...scratch that...water into mead. That would be better. And I want to be able to walk on water too. :)
