Top 100 Cantr Characters - 2011 Edition

Well... I feel like shit now. If I can't get one char into a top hundred..? Oh well. *sobs*
I also apologise to the players who would easily have had a char in my top ten, but for 'outing' myself in the process... making this a pretty redundant exercise for me.

It's nice to look at though, and actually quite surprising. Thanks.

Out of all my characters and how I split my time between them and how well I think I play them, those two make the Top 100 List. Wow. XD

Well, I'm going to try and get this out of the way. There's a reason I waited so long to do this. xD

1. Wonder. You always make me laugh. <3
2. turnip. So consistent, and one of the characters from my early days.
3. Rau Naedell Blackrock.
4. Master Guardian Drake Kras. My character longs to see you again, and you made life so amazing for her.
5. Vanya <3
6. Zee Black (formerly Zahra Rai).
7. Toby Stephens. Moar!
8. Gluk. My character and I both hated it when you died.
9. Endo Maguire, when you were still alive.
9. Jean Colton, when you were still alive. You two made that town so lively.

While we're waiting on masterekat with the 100 list, I did some calculations, a little bit different of a formula than ekat used, and this is what I came up with:

n = the number of times they were listed
r = their rankings in peoples lists

I don't think that plugging rank order into a rating equation makes sense. Some people put a lot of thought into their rank order, and others may not. It's unlikely that the distance between ranks is the same, even in one person's list (i.e., some are close to being tied, while other places may have huge subjective gaps between adjacent ranks).

Some people have separated a main list from an honorable mention list, so I would weight the latter mentions less. For example, main list mention is 2 points, and honorable mention is 1 point.

From a player who wants to remain anonymous:

1) Zol Strongman – The most amazing character I have ever met, the dream man of my character (and me:P); this guy doesn't emote, he writes a novel for you. I am so lucky to be a part of that novel; you make me feel so humble (and inadequate! ).
2) Seda Sidewinder – You have touched her more deeply than anyone else ever could. “If only”
3) Quinn – For giving her the opportunity to explore you, and through you, herself. It has been a good journey, and interesting to see how he has progressed.
4) Gabriel Sidewinder – those two have driven each other crazy, but you were the only one she could never give up, till the very bitter end. Still, when she was on a high, they had great times. Congratulations on not changing one iota over 30+ years she knew you.
5) Simon Drake – Description of insatiable, difficult as hell when in a dark mood but she is terribly addicted.
6) Marlie Sunrise – Blue ribbons... You are the face of “kindness, beauty and truth” for her. That's all I'll say.
7) Zevon Traynor – A fellow master of manipulation. It was also great to find out his intense side.
8 ) Naedell Blackrock – Great to observe and learn from.
9) Kasim of the seas – Oh my god, I have never laughed so much while interacting with a character. From his appearance to his accent, to his mannerisms and the aftermath of the pirate attack, the loss of his wife and father... Great to know you, Kas.
10) Brad Sidewinder – She messed you up royally yet you still love her. No matter what she thought of you as a man, you were her best brother, the one most like her (and you did deserve that slap ) and who was, with very few others, in her very last thoughts.

Honorable mentions go to Paul Paulsen (thanks for giving her a reason to go on), Kishna bunch (you know who you are), the Awesome Bunch (ditto), Al White (deceased - quietly brilliant), Sal (you are her kind), the subjects of my Queen (thank you for making me laugh), "Island"'s crew, Tom Vacabou & Al Pan Pan (what gentlemen), Johano (sorry about the mess), Ivan Larsson and his hat (yeah, visit any time my dear ), Umut and Sirena (rofl watching you two), Sticky (for seemingly small talk that both knew went deeper), Rori (deceased, glad mine didn't find out) & Katabrok (awesome interaction), Gary of Gary & Jack (interaction so brief but so sweet, but oh boy those tears were real, and that note, she treasures).
