That's a good idea not all the animals being together. In the long run if nobody kills the animals it would get to be an unstoppable force. Traveling around in 1 big group gaining more and more recruits. *imagines a group of 587 rabbits running through villages killing everything in their path* Maybe you could limit hom big a group of animals get before it stops spawning.

I haven't seen any of the animals you guys are talking about. Are they already re-introduced?

I don't think they have been introduced yet. They were before though they were around for a couple days before the time warp.

Domesticating animals sounds good. Like picking a lock (did someone already say this?) it can end in failure. A successfully domesticated animal will not attack anyone without provocation, and they only attack the person who poked or hit them one time, instead of their entire family goring everyone in town for days. Basically, they'd play nice until you tried to kill them for food, which is pretty realistic. I also noticed that animals can run away if they're hit, so people will have to learn to be nice to them until they have the means to hunt them. Hmm...I wonder if we'll see any nomads chasing bears or something like that.

The rudimentary animals are back in the game. Slowly, they should gain more features. :-)

Please report any bugs to bugs@cantr.net.

Not sure if it is a bug or not or if you guys just created super strong animals. lol I had a character that had an iron shield and full health killed in one hit by a wild boar :( you might want to tone them down a bit.

Matt, this sounds like it might have been a bug. Please e-mail bugs@cantr.net and include the location, game hour, and character name of the character who was slaughtered.

Thanks.

you' re sure it wasn't the ship owned by one of my chars "Golden Dragon"? A couple of months ago there was a bug you could see on the road what happened on ships (items being pulled, docking and so on)

It has been determined that this particular incidence was the result of a bug. It has now been resolved, and the characters most affected were contacted. Thanks. :)

Dragons shouldn't be in the game if i'm up on my staff policies. Cantr is a (or tries to be) a true to life game: dragons shouldn't feature

possibly animals {the more feindly edible ones} should have migration patterns.

Would a nomiadic group develop?

It would have been great if horse domestication was in place before everything was "settled". Nomiadic goverments might still exist. Horse naturally follow other horses. Horses can be "milked".

If enough bikes and cars are produced we might see a "road warrior" kind of group mucking about.

It is true, there is a lot to do with regards to animals, it is pretty complex to get them to work in a way we like

I think it would be great if dead bodies and food out in the open attracted rats.

If diseases will come in effect later on these vermins could be spreaders of such...
The rats shouldn't "produce" any resources when killed...
