Andu wrote:How about...
Almost heaven, West Pok Muntains
Grey rich mountains, there are no river.
Life is old there, older than the hematite,
Younger than the mountains, growing like a breeze.

Cantr roads, take me home,
To the place where I belong,
West Pok Mountains, mountain mama.
Take me home, Cantr roads.

All my mem'ries gather 'round her,
Miner's lady never seen blue waters.
Dark and dusty painted on the sky,
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrops in my eye.

Country roads, take me ...

I hear her voice, in the mornin' hour she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away.
And driving down the road I get a feeling
That I should have been home yesterday,
Yesterday.

I love it.
Reveal to me the mysteries
Can you tell me what it means?
Explain these motions and metaphors
Unlock these secrets in me
Describe the vision, the meaning is missing
Won't anybody listen?

I really need to check the forums more often. I feel late.

gejyspa wrote:Okay, in the spirit of the I AM... thread, I will post the current theme songs of my two characters (and you young whippersnappers will probably have to look these oldies up):

"Wake up, little Susie" Everly Brothers

"Travelin' Man" Ricky Nelson

The first one, I know exactly who you are talking about and the context. I'm just glad that she woke up...unless she's gone sleepy again? Don't bother telling me. I don't want to risk a CRB.

See, uh..... *thinks*
This is not in order with my I AM... thread post, by the way.

Well, for one of mine, it would be the soundtrack from Command and Conquer 3 (although I've never heard it myself).
Another one would have to be Panic Attack by Dream Theatre, although she isn't really panicking on the outside. But it's quite interesting to watch.

That's all I can think of right now.
(I feel lame.)

(Still respecting the four day rule...)

"Suspicion" -- (written by Doc Pomus and Marc Shuman, as sung by Terry Stafford)

"A Whole New World" -- (Tim Rice/Alan Menken, as sung by Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle.)

Right now I am at this stupid place, looking for a new job at my lunchtime, this stupid music that I barely hear's playing... And suddenly, Travis - Closer starts playing! I've always thought of that song as the perfect one for my char and her husband. Soooo beautiful and mellow :-) *quickly logs in before she gets back to work*
"She could make something sound stupid just by hearing it.”
"For a short moment there, you almost sounded human."

I recently found the soundtrack to the Metroid Prime games. I try to do my characters as their own personalities without attaching bits of myself too much (hard to do with lyric music for me) so I'm loving the backdrop of the instrumentals from those games.

Why do you seem so familiar to me? I have a friend who is obsessed with the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks, and she would enjoy this type of roleplaying game, and you remind me of her for some odd reason.

Anyways.... (totally not in order haha)

- A parody of "Just Keep Swimming" from Finding Nemo that I sort of made of myself, the title and subject of it I will not disclose.

"Excalibur" from our percussion program last year
"Just Keep Digging" a parody of "Just Keep Swimming" from Finding Nemo
