I'm on the RD and I play my chars as not knowing how to make things untill they make it and see for themselves, or are informed of it IC.
The only things I have them instinctively know is what I can see on the various build menus.
Personally I disagree with OOC research, as it is applying non-IC knowledge in game, essentially breaking the capital rule

In away EVERYONE breaks the CR, becuase there new spawned chars tend to know alot like they need food, and having a hamer is a must....and some other random things....
I want to be on RD becuase I love to program and do reaserch that and I can get Credits for working with Cantr (COmputer programing and Research Credits) lol

but I agree, everybody cheats a bit when it comes to this point.
I do it myself a bit
shame on me.
But finding the same thing out 15 times (with each char) is kinda a lot of work lol... but a lot of stuff I pretend not to know.

Heh, I always thot milkrun meant something easy and done without trouble, especially in bombing someplace or another.
In Context: For today's mission, we'll be taking out targets along the Libyan Coastline, AA targets Alpha and Bravo, then to secondary objective, the unguarded command and control structure, should be a milkrun.
