I agree with T-shirt about this implementation schedule, and also with Luk's point that there's no imperative for realism here. Cantr tortoises, like Cantr steel or Cantr mining or Cantr onions, are unique. A culture's developed around their existence, so they're important. To mess that up for purely OOC reasons or worse as an experiment makes no sense for the game.

As well, these changes, and the process of making these changes, should not contribute to lag, because surely none of it is worth that. The game's been unplayable again far too often lately. I would rather see no animals at all if it means the end of lag.

Thank you, Dougie! *big hug* No one noticed the loss of the tortoises (ic'ly), but the illegal hunting of them has made a bit of a stir lately, since they've been back. I hope my town is in the North, to get this new variety of tortoise.
