The available animal resources on Noniwrok have not changed from the original fauna.

Do you have a char there? Because the animals have definitely changed.

*smashes his head against the wall*

The animals have changed, the resources have not.

I don't need a character there; I made the changes.

:D Poor Doug, he makes all these nice animals, and people don't even know it's him.

:o Hey, maybe you'll be the god of a new religion soon, Doug! One that worships animals!

I think you'll find those that didn't buy into the sheep-worshipping religion have plenty of wool....

I am happy we got new animals and also kept the buffalo at the same time.

And Wow these animals are pretty strong...

You expertly kill a weasel using a steel long sword.
You expertly kill a donkey using a steel long sword.
You expertly kill a mule-deer using a steel long sword.
You expertly kill meadow-cow using a steel long sword.
You expertly kill peacock using a steel long sword.
You expertly kill a buzzard using a steel long sword.

A cow with wool makes no sense to me.

Wool is just animal fiber that can be spun. Some goats produce wool and their hair looks nothing like a sheep's.

Show off... :P

You expertly kill a weasel using a steel battle axe.
You expertly kill a donkey using a steel battle axe.
You expertly kill a mule-deer using a steel battle axe.
You expertly kill meadow-cow using a steel battle axe.
You expertly kill peacock using a steel battle axe.
You expertly kill a buzzard using a steel battle axe.
You expertly hurt a buffalo using a steel battle axe, which loses 62 strength.

You awkwardly kill a weasel using a bare fist.
You awkwardly kill a donkey using a crown of daisies.
You awkwardly kill a mule-deer using a tin can.
You strangle kill a meadow-cow using a loin cloth.
You splatter kill a peacock using a feather pillow.
You just kill a buzzard using a cold hard stare.

Now thats what i would call showing off, with style.

The buffalo is the state animal of Kansas, so I've had some familiarity with the beasts. I have petted a couple of them and eaten many more. They make a darn good burger or chili. :) They may be bison, but we call them buffalo in Kansas, because we're all inbred ignorant hicks that have no command of the English language and vote Republican to defend our NRA militia memberships.

Seko translated it as puhveli in Finnish. I think that sounds more like bison than buffalo, but then again, I'm an ignorant Kansas hick, so I might be wrong.

There's no possible confusion in traditional Spanish, by the way. "Búfalo" and "Bisonte" are clearly distinguished.

We got some of the best prehistoric bison paintings here and I think anyone would laugh their tears off (if that is a valid English expression at all) if someone came in there in a cave and call that a 'buffalo'.

I've been wondering should I translate it as biisoni after all...
