[hypothetical] If you were..

General out-of-character discussion among players of Cantr II.

Moderators: Players Department, Public Relations Department

If you were a senior staff member, and you are approached by a rich snobby player who offers a $10,000 donation to Cantr in exchange for a character revival, what would you do?

I would do everything in my power to quickly process the request.

I would say no then and there, for the morals Cantr upholds about Role Play.

I would say no then and there, thinking that it is unmoral to accept that much just for a character.

I voted no. Just copy paste the reasons others who voted no have stated and you'll get my thoughts on it. :p

And honestly, even weighing in the extra boon to people that may or may not generate, it wouldn't be worth compromising the core integrity of the game. If you give an inch, you'll likely loose a yard.

And there's the strange matter of, I don't honestly like being in cities with more then fifteen people. It becomes too much of a chore to follow anything. All my charries in big cities like that usually shy away from the town square.

*pokes in stomach* You said Honestly three times. You're lying.

Also said "don't" with one of those honestlys. And I don't think that rule works with that word anyway. :P

That is a lot of honestlys, kind of one of those words that a certain person may use a lot, and one way to guess what characters they have =p

I have a few of those.

Woah... Uhh... I hadn't honestly noticed...
Yeah, I use it a lot when I'm actually stongly opinionated on something. Besides, it sounds better then really or any of the other adjective/adverbs that serve the same function.

Good point.

Maybe I should start using "verdad."

lol, a spanish word with many meanings, generally meaning truth or truly, or really.

Or there's a word! "truly" lol

"That is truly the most magnificent potato I have ever seen."

And what's with the creepy owl/snowman anyway?

Honestly though, you honestly didn't notice how many times you said it? In my honest opinion, the 'h' seems almost silent in Honest ... or is it honestly silent? I can't tell anymore. But honestly try to keep the honests low.

Well, I answered that I'd consult the other staff members, but now that I think about it, maybe they're not the only one's that needed consulting...
Either way, if that really happened, I would only accept that bribe if it was a one in a lifetime thing that would really boost Cantr, making it faster, funnier (don't know how), and still as free as it always was. But I know that it would corrupt what Cantr is about, so it would be a hard decision... :?

I said i would take the 10 000 dollars for cantr.
Now i'm not sure what a char revival is , but honestly so what we'de have one cheat or whatever and the 10 000 dollars could get us 1000 more players i'd rather have the players then some morales and scruples and nobody to play with
