^^^I've wondered about that a couple of times but I doubt they're anyone who uses the forum. Though whoever the player is, I've identified other characters of theirs here and there too.

Well I don't want to name any names, and there's been times I didn't even have the names. It's.....just that....there's...a certain...style...to their....descriptions. Along with....other....indicators....that give....them away. Even if I don't know the player, I've always got a little guessing game going on when I notice similarities between any two characters. People who use hash marks instead of astericks for emotes, length of posts and just writing style, times online, things like that are fun for me to try and spot.

This is why I use different writing styles for different characters. :P
I feel I'm still predictable though.

I think I have been accused of being the dotter... Or is that daughter?

I think they're nuts though.

I used to do that too. It's hard not to, and even harder to still keep the characters you think are played by the same player separate.

I like the players that use the a different first name, but keeps the last name the same... confusing.

I thought it was frowned upon to use the same names for several characters, but I've seen in the database that it happens frequently. Someone has a bunch of dead characters and one live one with the same name, or someone doesn't enter the last name for their characters but in game they're all known by the same last name. Not like people were forced to play anonymously but if you get in trouble with one character, some people can start stalking all your characters. Not that it was right but it has happened in the past.

I think I play or have played about 90% of the characters called Alex, although I haven't actually named any character that for a while. Samuel and Joseph are common ones I use as well. As for surnames, I either use surnames of my ancestors (Lewis, Maynard, McKenna, Callaghan etc), use ones I like the sound of (Myers (although in the case of Alex Myers he is named after a OC of mine I use in fanfiction), Summers etc), ones I selected from a database of foriegn names (Velasquez, Kovalesky etc) or names I made up (Skycloud etc).

One of my characters was named after a road. I'm not even kidding.
Three were named after pets; only one remains.
Amura was named after a sushi restaurant in Orlando. His real name Hanatewakusoshiseotadashiiteteriyakisuzukihondacivic was nigahiga's name for his ninja alter ego. I did not get permission to use either name. :D
The others were named simply because I liked how they sounded.

Who plays the characters who use the word 'pry' at least once every sentence? :D
