I'm so sad to hear it :(
I heard someone commenting it once, but it was with a char that didn't know her at all so I couldn't really confirm it...
One of my chars will be sad. :(

It was pulling me down and for a long time, I only played her out of a sense of obligation. I was originally going to kill her off during the day 5000 festival but I chickened out back then. She had some good times with Travis after that, so I don't regret delaying her death, but I just didn't want to deal with all the bs anymore. I always thought I would quit if she ever died. I might still quit eventually because I don't have a similar connection to my existing characters, but some of them still have unfinished business that I would like to take care of. I haven't enjoyed playing in a while but maybe I'll get over it. I'm not going to spawn a replacement character this time.

So horrible to hear. I was waiting eagerly for your update.

I noticed a lot of negativity in that town. There seems to be a vocal clique that pretty much control the crowd opinion. I'm not involved in any of it but it's really obvious there are some strong friends in that town and Coventina's death is both sad and expected. :(

I wonder how the geopolitical landscape might change now that Klojt's lost its long time, stable leader. Interesting times ahead, I suspect. I wish I had a PC in Klojt still.

I'm a bit speechless and sad, but I know it was a hard life to keep on going.
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.

Once Coventina gets a memorial service, I would appreciate it if someone could send me a log of it. It would help me get closure.

Bryn of Fu island. He lived in a Polish town, so not many English characters knew him. He had gems and a car and all but I just got tired of playing him. He had mostly bad skills, so his whole life was an uphill climb.

Well, it's been a few more than four days, and the radio's been noisy enough...
I'll miss Theresa, of PDW. ;)

Yes, she was a bitch, but she was glad of Caleb's gifts and inspiration for Adventure. When she returned to PDW, I honestly tried to play her slightly wanting to help Cassandra be a better leader, and understand the decisions and ramifications of "hey, I lead now." .. "ok, so what about _this situation?_" ... with her questions on rules and sleepers and how coins should work or not, or whatever. Really -think- through the concepts, you know? Granted, She was also a bitch, and far FAR less dimplomatic about it than most people probably preferred. But, I liked the challenge of her personality, and I'll miss it. Got everyone active though, so I'll count that as a win, harkening back to "The olden Days" of political intrigue and factions on the island. :)

Since it's been a while since it happened...
Mizore Hanakotoba-Gibbons. From the moment she spawned, she was full of both energy and sass- trying to make the most of admittedly dull surroundings. She was always willing to smack around people with her pillow of death, a prize wrought from stubborn hands- and her last memory of someone she held close. She outlived a boyfriend, a husband, his brother, and numerous other people- and lived to the ripe old age of sixty-something before coming to an end in an admittedly unexpected fashion.
She was always fun to play, even when things got dull. I won't deny that I am going to miss playing her... but alas, such is the world of Cantr. :P

Not sure I/we/anyone can comment right now on anything that may or may not have happened as a result of god-damn-Theresa   but suffice to say multiple characters are extremely sad at her passing, many happy, and some angry. I think I'm part of the first and last group.

Welp, for sure I won't be breaking a four day rule. I wouldn't break four weeks rule, four months rule, if these existed. Four years, maybe... As I don't remember much, i'll try to get my chars right - though it will be hard after such a long time.

Arri of San d'Oria
After a few days from his spawn, he already knew he'd like to be a Silver Knight - in which he succeeded (kinda). He's never been much of a grown-up, balanced, psychologically-stable man, but he sometimes tried. A little drop in the ocean of drama that San d'Oria was back then (at least for me). He had great friends, that were driving him crazy on a daily basis. Raaj, his mentor, even some kind of a fatherly figure. Ivy, whom he loved, but didn't know what to do about it. Eadoin and Sharai, his first true friends and peers. He loved the fun they had during their squirehood. I don't really remember much from the later period - but there were some trips on the coast, visiting neighbours such as Meem in Olip(?), Pok Desert South etc. Also I remember the name Ainsley, but I'm not really sure what was their connection about - maybe I'm just imagining something here. Either way, he's been a tremendous fun to play!

EDIT: How could've I forgotten about Swiler and Nikki? And Fritz? You guys were amazing!

Arril of Seatown Gardens(?)
It was just like living in the countryside, comparing to Arri. Arril was never an outstanding character - he was a simple, easy-going, friendly man, who liked living in a slow-paced town. There isn't much else to say about him - he always went with the flow, did everything that would be described as normal. I don't remember many people from his city, but there is one name I have to mention. Yero Evero - Arril was always very fond of her.

Taiq Yoror
Not much to say about him. Timid. Quiet. Sleepy. Afraid of almost everything. Hard-working. Got his heart broken by Splash, when she died only a few days after their little affair. My least played character.

Trock Vrees
Chars above were played by me from the beginning of my Cantr adventure. Trock was an exception from this - I guess I've created him when I was a little bored with Arri and Arril. He might be the cause of Arril sleeping a bit more than him or Arri. But I digress.

Big, grumpy man. Never content with anything. Spawned in Olip, travelled almost instantly to Olip West. He's never been good with people - it's a surprise for me he made it alive! He loved to bring other people to tears, say horrible, mean things about them. Then he met Xiana. I don't know how or why, but I think she'd seen something in him - something that told her he isn't pure evil. And she's been right.

If it wasn't for her, Trock would've never been happy. He would've never thought he could feel any positive emotions. He would've never though he could care about something or someone. But he did. He helped Xiana while she was the actual leader of Olip West, sailed with her to free an hostage on a ship (I don't remember anything more!), went with her to Nraan, where they got to know Marlie Sunrise. That's where they also decided to move. I don't remember when or where they got to know Ruby Porter, but she was an outstanding character. Because of the way she was, Trock, who didn't care about anyone (apart from Xiana), was very intrigued by her. Well, he was right, as she at least once tried to kill him (and not only him, if I recall correctly) when she snapped out of her mind. It was marvellous role-play. Me, as a player, loved every second of it.

______________________________________________________________

Phew, that wasn't so bad - I still remember something! Things I'm unsure of I've marked with ? sign.

To the players I've RP'd with - I'm sorry I left. I just didn't have the time to play this game. The interest in my characters have been just slowly fading away to the point of ignoring cantr, then coming back, making promises that my chars will be less sleepy and constantly breaking those promises.

Raaj and Ivy - it was a great fun to be involved in so many dramas in this lively town! If you're reading this, or anyone is reading this that can shoot me a PM with some info what was happening in San d'Oria, how are Silver Knights, are those chars even still alive? It'd be nice to know what happened after Arri gave up.

Yero Evero - I'm sorry Arril was usually so sleepy. You've always been a heart of his town - and I guess you've also had a special place in his heart.

Xiana - I'm terribly sorry. You were Trock's live and I think Trock was yours. I've had great fun playing with you, lifting you off your feet, which you hated, sailing with you... We've had some great adventures, alone or with Ruby. If it wasn't for you, I'd quit much earlier, I think.

If you know anything about the characters I've mentioned (or chars that knew mine, but I've already forgotten them) - what happened with them afterwards - please shoot me a PM. I'd be delighted to read about the farther events happening with those characters or places I've mentioned.

Really, guys, feel free to shoot me a PM! Hope you're still playing and having as much fun as I've had with you!

Thank you all!

Daithi, Summer, Michelle Milton, Hal (and Rainbow) and Odiane were mine. I struggled a fair bit in my last term of uni and ultimately my account timed out - I'm really sorry I couldn't set up a less inconvenient exit.

I knew Hal (and Rainbow :D) and am sorry to hear that! My character would be sad if he ever found out, he liked Hal.

Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. He is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

Aww, we miss Daithi... Sorry we couldn't be more active and engaging.
