I don't know if four days have passed or not, but...

This is a bit of a wrong place but I couldn't find the "what happened to this and that character" topic so, where's Link Backhand? He was doing a resource run for PFE but happened to return just as Hannah and Walter were having a private moment behind locked doors. Apparently he got tired of waiting and left, never to be seen since. I still have his resources stored up, not a gram missing. Wouldn't think about the guy so much exept that he took our only bike!! XD We had to make a new one from scratch...

Seko- is that, 'hint hint give the bike back now or we'll build this other one, track you down and kill you, I have resources if you do decide to turn back, otherwise, this public ooc appeal is IT!'
Hehehe! :D

No, it's an old thing, we've had the new bike for years and no one has bothered to go look for him. Either he's long dead or leading a successful life somewhere else, not even remembering the whole thing. But my character still keeps hoping it's only a delay and one day he'll return. Seemed like such a nice fellow.

There was someone I waited for a few Cantr years to return. (maybe more) They just came back today, I was shocked, because by then I gave up on it. (she had a longboat and some other things I worked hard on)

Hmmm....
Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.

ArchBaron Sasuke

I would love an explanation on THAT one...he will be missed as a Father figure and mentor ...

I had a character killed. This has never happened before, and I am struggling with unexpected emotions. It's just a game, right? And just the brutal senselessness of her death..not violent...cold and calculated. Murdered. Slaughtered. And the killer had the nerve to say goodbye first! Like some sort of twisted Cantrian serial killer.

Sunni summed it up well for me, I feel like I have just been informed that a child has been murdered. I am angry, and tearful, and confused....

But its just a game, right?

Morgaine...you will never be forgotten.

I know exactly how you feel. When I lost Sabrina Seadragon because of a really dumb mistake, I think my stomach dropped so low that it fell on the floor. My whole day was ruined.

The first one is always a shock, I'd guess even for the first-timer note thief just trying things out. Like said many times, first of my characters to get killed was for helping to drag sleepers without questioning the ownership of the vehicle they were in.

Seko's right, the first one is hard. I still miss Silas and think about the night he got nabbed because of my rookie mistake. But, you should be happy with the fact that at least your character was fortunate enough to be murdered by a player with a sense of plot for a change. It is even more sad when your little child is cut down with senseless silence by someone just looking for some shoot 'em up fun.

What's wrong with the evil villian monologue? :?

Back on topic.

Taargn Na Nogg. It's been what, a month now, yet only now I actually feel something. A terrible clutching feeling at my abdomen, so heavy like a stone. It's strange when you watch a person die through the eyes of a stranger, as a player you get a bit of a hollow feeling but it's only passing, since the character present doesn't care. But when the one who does care finally finds out, it hurts more than you could ever imagine.
