This isn't so much a thing that annoys me about Cantr, but rather something of my own doing - I spawned a character and thought I was in the mountains for the longest time. Didn't RP anything mountain-related luckily, but now that I've realised I'm not in the mountains, I feel this massive disconnect with the location and it's really weird.

I continue to be generally annoyed at radios. But specifically I'm annoyed at whoever reignited this (4day rule edit) bullcrap. I remember that all started when I had my last account, over a RL year ago. Which is...how many years IG? Jesus people, hold grudges much?

Anyway radios are bad, I guess I can go ahead and find completely OOC reasons to keep all my characters away from radios forever but they're still going to go right on being bad, they are bad for the game and I do not like them at all. Maybe one day there will be fuel costs and they'll be slightly better but I doubt it. Too many people hoarding resources. (and that is also bad, and bad for the game...)

IMO it errs on the side of poor RP if you play an infant who is sexually active. I play a child-like character and it would never cross my mind (at least until she's much older, in her thirties) to start maturing.

But that's like saying it's wrong for a full grown adult to have se ual urges because they're mentally handicapped. Forest Gump was innocent and childlike and he was attracted to a woman. You have to remember characters can not be minors, for this very reason. A childlike mentality doesn't neutralize sexuality innreal life, why should it in a game? There are lots of people in this world who can't behave like an adult, or choose not to, or simply look much younger than they are, but if they are a consenting adult, it makes no sense to assume their bodies can't work naturally and they shouldn't feel adult needs and think adult things. That's a misconception, mentally challenged adults are not children, they have disabilities that inhibit their social behavior or thought process, or they just like acting silly and childish, which is just how some people act and has nothing to do with their actual mentality or maturity. I have an autistic character and he's also socially challenged and sounds like he's speaking "baby talk", it's completely a speech issue, but there is nothing wrong with his brain and he's very intelligent, but people like to judge people based on their outward demeanor or appearance. There's usually more to a character than their behavior dictates, but assuming every adult who acts like a child and also goes through puberty and feels sexual attraction is creepy, or that they don't know what they're doing, is kind of ignorant. My brother is 32 and acts 12 and does nothing but play video games and watch netflix, and has two sons and two ex wives and a current girlfriend, so obviously being immature doesn't stop an adult from being an adult.
