Is that the dead character who is a jerk, or is this an attempt to get around the closure of the ranting thread?
Just curious.

The latter.

Why does everyone I care about have to die? Stop quitting you idiots, it's only going to cause a chain reaction.

It was just the name of the char, that anonymous player asked me to post it that way. Thank you nevertheless, EchoMan (:

Marikaris bought the farm on 3533 at age 48. Possibly no one reading this thread knew him, since he only encountered non-English speakers. But nonetheless, he was my first death (I've been playing since 2962), and true to my frst prediction in the "I died...(hypothetical)" thread, he died of starvation despite there being plenty of theoretical food around, because he didn't eat any animal products. (There was lots of standing grain around in his last days, but no way of making it into anything).

I have a char that met him (and felt sorry for him because of the food thing). My char gave him a hike on a ship (I think) and some bread.

Yeah, I figured that was probably you. Since I don't know any other Swedish players. Marikaris ended up knowing at least some of four languages (but none fluently except lojban, and no English)

The first of a few more to report, and this just my way to say goodbye to them, as I will miss them*. :(
(4 days gone, and no outstanding issues that I am aware of)

Sticky, of Freedomland (old Pak).
Elected leader of the town, and would be vintner. He was always busy pottering about, and trying to make the most of the place, as he could. Never really left home, on account of always carrying the grief of the loss of his partner, and being reluctant to, and loving the lake.

Gog, citizen of the Blackrock tribe.
What can I say..? He was rather simple, but loved life, loved to be busy, wore his tunic back to front and was always entertained by the tribe. He learned two numbers from someone rolling a dice, and he learned to spell his name, by looking at and asking about the signs on buildings and vehicles. Many things just left him confused, and politics flew way over his head.

*Sadly, real life has forced my hand, and I need to reduce my game play.

The former had a special place in my char's heart. The reasons were explained somewhere around here, therefore I will not be repeating myself. Hey, those two now know whether there really IS a lake monster or not, eh?
The latter... *sad smile* Pillow logic, that's all I will say. He will be very much missed, by a lot of people.
I will have a few more things to say when you post about the rest. I think there will be one sad girl if the one I am thinking about is gone, too. :/
Good luck with whatever is going on with your RL.

I'm pretty sure it's out there somewhere... probably hiding, given the new 'neighbours. :p

I hate making other chars miserable, even though I know it's just 'make believe'.. (I keep telling myself this, anyway), but on a sort of plus side, one of mine may be saved, and will leave me with three. I suspect though, the chars in the places mine were, will know already. :(

I will post as and when the rules allow, and thank you.

Jake of Mulof South and Baaak:
He wasn't up to much really. A scruff, who after watching most of his town die off, and his best friend eventually die, just pottered about in his van (that took years to make) achieving nothing very much at all.
Perhaps his biggest achievement was starting a tortoise sanctuary... that was fun :)
