Lol I don't think I could draw him older if I tried, but if it helps, he's got the salt and pepper look going. But yeah... All his glory lol. Wasn't trying to aim for a super model. Plus in his description he's 6'3. Think there's an older pic of him somewhere in the forums

Wolfsong, please. All Cantrians look like they're 22, regardless of age, you should know this by now.

People do seem slightly better about aging their male characters than the female ones, I've noticed. Probably because the grizzled badass look has it's own kind of popular appeal. But lots and lots of supermodel grannies with curvy figures and pouty lips in this game...

Look at all the clamor recently in Hollywood - young actresses are paired with older male co-stars, and actresses over 30 retired to a pasture somewhere, or taken out back behind the barn and shot. (Though, I suppose they can always opt to play the English Queen?)

If I was the sort of person to make wild generalizations based on stuff like that, I'd say it was because men are basically fertile (IRL, obviously) until they die, whereas women are no longer fertile after menopause, and that that's probably somehow related to it all - desirability is inherently tied to fertility. Of course, it doesn't work like that in Cantr, but Cantr is shaped by OOC influences. And I'm not the sort of person to make generalizations like that, anyway, mostly because it's probably all bullshit.

Since Cantrians are immortal, I guess I'm okay with people not roleplaying hunch-backed crones, or grasshoppers, but some grey hair and wrinkles wouldn't go amiss. Hell, even a few stretchmarks on those previously perfect, perky, melon-sized breasts - or muscles that have gone to fat from years of sitting around in the same town, sedentary. If I kept an account long enough to get old characters, that's what I'd do. But alas, every time I get a character to around 67, at least in the past, I've been pulled back into MUDding or something equally time consuming.

A bit off topic... Any of you, oh, great artists, would make a drawing for me? Off topic because it wouldn't be of a char, but an actual person...

Thank you anonymous player for making this beautiful drawing of one of my characters!

...behold the grainy mess of a biochemist attempting to art on a scrap of lined paper.

The hair's a bit short, otherwise it fits way better than I expected.

This was Lori btw, well after her years in the wilderness ^_^ And a tiny bit of Thomasina-Louise in the corner but her hairstyle was too hard for me.

ObsessedWithCats wrote:Oooh, I can make my first character with that. I managed my second with The Sims 2 and my fourth with The Sims 3. Please excuse the poor quality of the various scars added using GIMP (especially the first character because I couldn't even find the tutorial :/) :3

My second character:

My fourth character:

My third character has difficult hair so I've not got round to finding something I can make him with yet :/

This was Cats, Lori (must have been after the wilderness but I guess she cut her hair back to how it was when she spawned?) and Kieran - Grayson's hair was short in a way I've never seen in a Sims game.

At some point I drew I think my first six characters on a height-scale-thing - I'll have to see if I can find that over Christmas.
