I only play my own gender and I fully expect that one of the above complaints could be applied to me.

I'm not saying which one.

I didn't mean my lists to be a complaint, in fact I fully admit to making mistakes of my own. Just an observation.

As for MY complaint... One day I'll fully figure out how the new repairing system works. It's seriously messing up my rp'ing when I forget it changed and muck up the process for starting repair projects.

And when I mistake languages... XD
But well, it annoys me more when I do them IRL. And I do them a lot. Both. -.-

Just wondering is there any other empire in the past like Alexian United Socialist Republic (AUSR)? Have seen many times signs of this but nobody knowdays even knows that

There are quite a few. Some might still exist. Alexilad Empire, Emerald Empire, DoUrden (clan? defence force?), Tribe Blackrock, Stone Knights, Silver Knights, Clan MacGregor, Plaekur Republic to name just a few from the English language group. Maybe you are specifically asking about one who actually were influenced by IRL OOC (like the Socialist part above), of that I am not sure.

I think most of the empires only exist in name only. One of those Echo listed basically is down to just existing on the map. A couple I think still run two cities and the rest that I'm familiar with are down to one city. There's been some suggestion that more are forming in other areas I know of one but figure best not to mention here. A note on the ground saying X city part of the Y empire and no one there to protect or run the city doesnt count as an empire I suppose there's lots of those around.

He did ask for "empires in the past" so that's what I gave a few examples of, and said that "some might still exist". So I think we agree... maybe. :)

No X resource on Y island and no Y resource on X island. (Don't want to get in trouble for saying in game stuff on here.) But they are both clothing materials and on two big islands.

Hmm, I actually don't mind that too much, makes for good trade opportunities :)

I don't mind it as a concept :) I just currently mind it with these two particular resources and islands. :)

Emerald empire? They existed for maybe 5 cantr years max. As for the Plaekur Republic and Silver Knights, they were not socialists like the AUSR was. Though as youentioned, similar in notoriety.

WARNING: LONG RANT AHEAD

I've never been a fan of copy pasted event logs being used IG. I've seen their usage abused several times with people reading them and automatically assuming that they are truth because of OOC knowledge of what they are.

It's poor roleplay to resort to something that lazy, but when the person reading it automatically assumes it's truth because it's something that we as players recognize as a game mechanic, that's very problematic. I know it's hard to tell the difference between OOC influence and the character IG just believing what what said because of the character of the person, but I feel like there should be some sort of hesitation, either way. In many cases, there's just not any sort of consideration.

I'm not wanting to outright do away with quoting the event logs, as some of the longest histories of Cantr resort to that, and I can understand to a point if the record is long enough. Yet, I've seen several abuses of the system. I've seen event logs READ ON THE RADIO, people using them as evidence in accusing others, etc. etc.

My question is, is all of this just accepted as simply bad roleplaying, or is there a point that it could have the potential of being a CRB?

I struggle with this same thing and have only ever copied and pasted twice and just a very few lines each time yet I have been handed many, many, many. The good news is my char who seems to be the one getting handed them is not very bright so there is plenty of confusion and skepticism when she gets them and rarely takes them as gospel truth.

Funny how a 'not very bright' char is the skeptic one :)

I agree, for the most part, but I have to say, I do use it, too. I've never had a char -speak- in event logs, though, I only used them in notes, when someone asks what happened some time ago, or something like that. When I get a note like that, I mostly assume it's kind of like an 'emote' of the char that handed it over, 'emoting' it as if he wrote down a story.

I very much understand if someone prefers to do it like that, because, with 15 chars, it can be hard to remember everything that happened, and having to cut out all event-log thingies takes a lot of time, not necessarily useful, which can be used for more useful, or more fun, things. It's still a game (to most of us) after all ;)
