No xD I was just wondering how Snickie fitted so many activities in 24hours! Don't worry, I'm still here
Don't remember where I was - I realized life was a game - The more seriously I took things - The harder the rules became

Haha, maybe she's some kind of alien, where days have 48 hours or something like that...

I've played since the year 242 and always had 15 characters. In that time, one has been killed, one had survived the massacre in Dory... And that's it. I am not a cautious player. I have been in many wars, locked up many times, and been involved in much controversy.... But I have only one death so as my friend Mitch said, look at the constant factor, what is X? Maybe it's you. Maybe not.

The 4-day rule is one of very few rules in this game. You are not allowed to share information until 4 days have passed and the events are no longer ongoing.
I deleted a load of off-topic and off-rule posts. From now on, stay on topic, and abide by the rules.

Is it sad that whenever CantrSpy says '12' that I don't want to play because I feel it'd be too overwhelming?

Yeah, I know that feeling.

I need to quit but I'm not going to do it right now. I've slowed down. I need to quit. I love all the stories I have going but the opportunity cost is just too high to keep playing.

I'm down to 12 chars. Need to lose a couple more, then I'll be all good I think. Then I will probably make 15 again the first weekend when I am not choked with work and other things.

Oh, hey, here's a heads-up that's coming six years too late: I suck at this game and I'm too lazy to get better at it, so I'm going to quit and go play Guild Wars instead.
Also, I'm back.
Also, I'm back.

Re: Thinking about quitting.....
So, I've pretty much lost all desire to play Cantr anymore.
I've just gotten so busy with college applications and school and band (October is always a hard month) and writing and sleeping (somehow I still have time to sleep, and of course it's never enough) that I don't have much time to do any of this anymore, and when I do get time, I'd rather sleep. I'm afraid to involve any of my characters in anything deep and that has the potential to be long-lasting because of this, so they've all been pretty solitary lately, which is not a fun way to play. I end up just reading, entering names, setting up a long repeating project, and logging off. This is not how one plays Cantr.
No, I'm not going to unsub. At least, not yet. I've still some things that I promised to live out for my characters (like one of them finding a certain someone and seeing them one last time before s/he's done forever). But if things keep going the way they have been, there is a very good chance that by the end of the school year I will not be playing anymore.

Snickie, I'd try cutting things down to just one or two characters and see if that goes better for you. Might not work, but maybe it will. It's worth a shot, and it only takes 5-10 minutes to check up on one character unless you're in a really busy place.

I'm having a hard time choosing who to cut. Might end up being all of them. I'm having one of those weeks where I think it might just be easier to quit.

No, don't do it! Stick a couple inside, let them sleep a while or be less active, but please do not quit.
Get through the week to a better one, you'll be glad you didn't quit.
