I think that may be cause Girls know what girls want from a guy.

Definately. My male characters tend to turn me on a bit, even if they were bastards. Or actually, especially if they were bastards... No wonder I always fall for the wrong guys irl.

Sometimes female charracters played by guys are obvious - I guess I assume they are played by guys because they are just that little bit too... erm... easy, although I accept that maybe there are ladies out there RPing man eating sluts...

Not sure they can be that convincing but who knows!

my 2 cents

I truly just had to respond to an entire THREAD started by a statement I made. Truly I am flattered. I, in R/L am NOT a lesbian, though having multiple homosexual characters should at least get me an honorary title. I have updated my I Am reply, as the past few days have seen some major changes in my chracters lives. I still am having lesbian issues, as there is one I just cant seem to shake. The others have either gotten over their sexual confusion, or have been turned into more set decorations, or have taken a vow of celibacy after seeing some of the men surrounding them. You must understand that there is little else to distract them at this point. i am sure that will change in the future. But very interesting convers anyway. I'm still not understanding why homsexuality doesnt make sense in R/L though....

Whatever excites you in real life makes sense. The thought of a man taking me is slightly exciting, but overall a bit too scary for my liking and he'd probably be hairy and dirty :(

Smooth, clean, shampooed women are more my thing, but whatever floats your boat! :)

I've never met any homosexual characters on my travels. I had a character who fell in love with a man, but the man wasn't interested... or maybe he just didn't have the mental capacity

How often do you all find yourself in these 'encounters'? Maybe my characters aren't sexy enough, but I've never been forced into a cot or sweet talked.

I have one charry who was openly lesbian. And another one who was secretly gay/bi but all he got on that sector was some tentative flirting and once grabbing a young man by the balls against his will. And one girl would be ready to try everything, including other ladies.
Many times I've wondered if some other ones of my charries might be homosexual but they then turn out to have straight relationships. Just taking a glance at the big question marks, Ken possessed many traits that might be considered gay, but found the love of his life, a woman, in his late thirties. For Jaina I initially thought she might be too masculine to have a relationship with a guy but men have been drooling over her for decades and sometimes she's felt something for them as well. It just ends up going wrong every time. She sometimes has feelings for girls but it never goes anywhere. When Gahak broke up with Bailey, for a while I was so sure he's gay... but that doesn't make much sense really.

Apparently there's a goodly number in Southern California, and at my work - both straight and gay....

Even I have to give a little giggle when a straight guy gets a regular pedicure and manicure, there's a point when you're taking the whole "metrosexual" thing a bit far.

Nature vs. Nurture anyone?

That's always an interesting one

Studies have shown there are parts of the brain linked to gender identity, certain parts are larger in masculine gender personalities than feminine.

That's not dirctly linked to hetro/bi/homosexuality but it does influence it, i guess

Looking at the, what do cantrians look like thread, there is certainly an above average representation of beards!

Umm, and that's related to this topic - how? Nah, maybe they consider using bone knives for shaving too painful?

I assumed 'smooth' meant clean shaven, as opposed to hairy....

Perhaps Jos was referring to dance moves.... who knows?

Nah...in that case he would have said, "Smoooove".
