As I said in another thread, slang is so soon out of date, and certainly jars to me.

Of these, the one that wouldn't be okay is the six-pack one.......a referrance to an object that does not exist in Cantr. Change it to "He's a few barrels short of a full cargo" *shrugs*

The other two are common expressions that don't bother me.

So we can't reference religions? I was thinking of creating a street preacher character who would hand out tracts.

As long as the religion is original (not an obvious copy of an OOC religion, for example), that should not be a problem.
