Some mix of primitiveness and technology must've crossed many minds, me and blackKnight were both considering to draw a guy in a loincloth riding a motorcycle and wielding some sort of a weapon. The problem is that I'm bad at drawing vehicles, as girls often are, so I'll try to come up with some other idea.
I have many characters that have experienced interesting things in their lives (Maline, Dove, maybe Jaina), but if I start writing a story, I wouldn't want it to be limited by the unlogical sides of the game, for example the fact that you can only hit a person once a day.

Well, quiet frankly, if we knew exactly what we wanted as a cover, there wouldn't be any reason to accept submissions for it
But basically, anything, me and Jon won't be picking the cover anyway. They'll be put on display and voted on by the players.

Dee wrote:I suggested the life story of Pink Le`Arabietta... But that would be very boring
Well, it would depend on how it's written, as to how boring it would turn out. Every piece of writing shouldn't be a suspense filled, action packed romp through the forest. This is for a couple reasons. First, the game is sopposed to be a 'society' simulator and there's alot that goes on other then 'action' that should be captured for the book. Two, if there isn't a mix of writings for the book, any none player who reads it could get the wrong impression of the game, which would undermine one of the purposes of this book, which is to try to draw in new players.

Just an FYI for anyone who may be planning to submit anything for CoC within the next month.
Till the end of Dec I'm going to be online very little, but will keep check on email and such, so if you submit something (either by email or forum PM) look for a confirmation message within 72 hours saying I got it. If you don't get that message, assume I didn't get the submission for whatever reason and resend.

All those questions have been discussed and remedied pretty much within the first few days of beginning the project. We have made arrangements to use POD technologies (Print on Demand) and to have it self-published. This means the book is only printed when it is ordered, to save paper, ink and a large initial fixed cost, which is much more environmentally favorable than any other option out there since both allocative and technical efficiencies are met.
It was an early decision to make the book readable and approachable by both Cantr and non-Cantr audiences, as to not only make it profitable for Cantr (i.e. all royalties are to go straight to Jos' penpal) and also market Cantr in the process.
Although I haven't discussed this in detail with Ephiroll, I think it's safe to say there's no need for submissions to specifically capture the 'Cantr quirks'...so as to not confuse non-Cantr readers.
