Depends... some lags are okay. For instance, Floyd had a 3 second lag for my show yesterday.Anthony Roberts wrote:Not only that, it would be stupid. Why? There's a long delay. Yeah, I had no lag while listening to Colonel once.
Personally, I think Junesun is an ideal DJ. She plays multicultural music, which fits the theme of our multicultural game. She has a nice voice, which is good for a completely audio medium of communication. I think she might need some more encouragement to talk more about Cantr. She's a longtime player, high ranking staff member, and I really think she could say a few things that would at least keep me interested.
West had by far my favorite content. He sounded a bit shaky on the radio, but I was only listening until like hour 3 of his 12 hour marathon. I think he might become better with experience, as he just didn't sound very organised (constructive criticism here, don't take offense). But as I said, his material is the best. He has a lot of knowledge about IC histories, some of which he shared on the air. Some of the other DJs should copy him in that way. Excellent broadcast, West.
Anthony well... you're not going to win any music awards from me. You played Prozzak 3 times! However, simply the fact of you being resources chair puts you in a position to announce things that I know I'd like to hear. You're rather humorous, although your radio voice is just horrible!
Seriously dude, turn up the bass on your input or something!
Anthony managed to keep a lot of different people entertained, which is a hard job. Good work, Anthony.
Colonel has a good radio voice, although (and again, no offense intended here) you sometimes tend to repeat yourself on air. However, you seem to be the DJ most concerned with the contentness of your listeners. Your music is mostly if not all based on requests, which is something that surely must satisfy many listeners. You may be a bit too worried about the legal aspects of having a radio station. You need to keep in mind that the FCC does not regulate the internet, and that saying a bad word on the air is not a crime. There is much worse stuff more easier found on the net
. When Colonel speaks, he sounds confident, although I'd like to see him share more of his thoughts about Cantr related things. And let's not forget this is ALL Colonel's brainchild. Double props for the Colonel.
Dave, I never really heard you speak much at all, just playing some music which seemed to satisfy your listener base at the time. So I can't really form any real negative or positive opinions about your broadcasts. Thank you for the tech help regarding my DVD burner, though.

That's only possible if the two members voice chatted, recorded it, then played it over the radio. Thing is, we haven't discovered a way to have two DJs connected at the same time. Not only that, it would be stupid. Why? There's a long delay. You could ask the question, and they wouldn't answer for at least 2 minutes... so... it's not really possible to have two people on at once.
So what are you saying? That would be good for CANTR's station silly. that is what happens in the game. lol

Yup, he does repeat himself too much. Sometimes I'm just squirming in there listening to him use minutes in saying what the next song is gonna be and that he'll be going off the air then and thinking sheesh put the music on already!

we've got interviews on the webzine - I could mock up my one with J-F - I've got his recorded, and my qustions written down, so I could record them... But - I don't have the time right now...Stan wrote:That's cool! Someone ought to do online interviews of staff and players. Good way to get to know the people playing the game!
