Considering how I just did 57% damage with a certain in game weapon, I not only reject the idea of guns, but the other topic's discussion of fatal hits.

I know a char who attacked one of mine. He hit me for 30 and my iron shield saved 32.. For a grand total of 62.. :wink:

Probably the most powerful weapon so far in the game... if you know what that is.

Hows about you give me a gun to use on myself. You all wanted this crappy peace loving kaka crap and it's driving me insane! I want to kill! I want to maim! I want to be feared! Now the only way to be feared is to control an hematite, coal or limestone resource deposite. And good luck fighting over those.

All I can say is the only guns cantr is capable of supporting is cannon for naval warfare/seige and flintlock muskets which would be the same as crossbows but miss more though require less skill.

Also I've seen a character do over 60% damage with a weapon I thought was midrange.

I am actually thinking about adding something like muskets, most likely the early medieval forms. I would need programming for it to miss quite a bit and not have tiredness affect the user so much.
