To be sure: we are aware that applications are sometimes handled much too slow, or worse, end up too low on the personnel forum so that we forget about them ... this is virtually always the result of those responsible being too busy or not having enough time to handle applications, or some waiting for others' responses, etc. For as far as I know, there is no bias towards handling applications that fail slower than those that succeed, nor is there any intention to give certain signals by not replying.

In other words: if your application takes a long time, ask us about it, don't conclude it failed ...

So do I reapply, pm somebody, or simply post on the froum and hope somebody gives me a response... oh wait, I've done that last one several times. :x

Anyway, sarcasm aside, what did you want me to do? No-one has given me any idea what is the best way to go about this (aside from reapplying which has so far failed me). Any suggestions?

Not sure what to answer, as different staff members have different preferences ;) ... If you want to reach me, the best is always email, but Oasis and Jessica are responsible for applications and might have different preferences ;) ... Try PM ...

Yes, PM is probably the best method for both myself and Jessica. :)

One problem with responding from a concern on a thread such is this, is twofold:

I don't always have time to read the general discussion forum, so I miss the concern, and...

Applications are posted in Personnel by player name, therefore it is difficult to know sometimes who you are in relation. (I mean this generally, not specific to you Surly, I don't know if you included your nick on your application or not, but regardless, they are not easily correlated, even if they are included on the application).
