Come on everybody, this can easily be solved by comparing and contrasting e. g. which words appear in this sentence but not in that, which are the same in many otherwise-different sentences...

Can I take the test?

Updated the scores again...

Missy wrote:That was fun. Lets do another.

Ok, I'll write another next time I have a boring lesson ;-)
Meanwhile, you could have a look at the riddles I made formy page on languages. They are usually smaller, contain more grammar and are not Cantr-based, however. When it looks like everybody has submitted his answer to this test, I shall post it on my website, too - as an additional advertisement for Cantr.

Anthony wrote:Can the next one be German, so that I'm forced not to use my stupid head? ;-)

Sure. Though you'll still have to use your head... well, your logical thinking, when there's a test about a language that you don't know.

Trage wrote:I understand this because all it is is bad Latin, but ooooh I am too lazy.

Oh come on, Rand! I won't believe that you understand this - you'll have to prove it to me ;-)

Nick wrote:Can I take the test?

Of course you can. Everybody can participate. The more, the merrier.

Comeon, I want someone to try to beat my score! (which I should really have got full marks for, just stupid mistakes mostly... as normal for me!)

BTW, I had 6 years of french lessons, plus I;ve been to france several times. And i tried not to use that knowledge.

Updated the scores again. Rev, you're no longer No. 1. But somebody can still beat the current winner, if that somebody is very attentive to details...

Does this word suppose to end with a d? If not is it hurt?

I made a similar mistake in my translation, that's why I lost half a point

Ok, I'm done. :) I no hardly no french but I'm a wiz at puzzles so I think I might have scored even better than you Punker :P

Um Junesun, do you dock points for spelling and punuctiation. If so I may get docked a little because I didn't check my work. :) Anyway, that was fun.

I deduct half a point if a spelling mistake could also be a grammar mistake, as quite a few people noticed. Other than that, I don't insist on spelling or punctuation, as long as it's understandable ;-)

Damn! I would have beaten Seko and Oasis if I would have checked my work. I probably would have beaten Revanael too.
